A Spur in My Foot

Ouch!

Here I am minding my own business on our annual holiday beach trip, and I stepped on a thorny spur.  Right in my paw pad.  Those things hurt!  And they hurt Her when She picks them out of my fur and feet.

Be careful walking in the sand!

What You Learned Today:

  • Our feet may be tough, but not when sticky things puncture our pads!
  • Ice and snow can hurt, too.
  • So can chemicals and hot pavement.

About The Scottie Chronicles

I'm a seven-year old brindle, black and white (yes, you read that correctly) Scottish Terrier with plenty to bark about! Come along with me on my journey through life. With two peeps. A couple of girlfriends next door. And lots of friends in the blog-o-sphere.

Gosh..you are having a bad week with the feetsies! Time for a pawdicure! Or a new pair of snazzy red booties! I hope you got all that nasty sand spur out…sometimes the points break off and it hurts like heck to walk.
    sniffies all about,
