So there We were. Minding Our Own business. Enjoying Our little Christmas getaway. And it snowed. Right on the beach! I think She’d seen this only once before. And just a little bit.
But it really snowed. Two or three inches. Have you ever seen snow on a beach? I’d love to hear about it if you have.
Get a load of these pictures:
Boy was it cold! And windy, too! But it was fun.
What You Learned Today:
- It’s a rare thing to have so much snow at the beach where We go. And it stuck on the sand! Who’d a thought?
- It didn’t last long.
- It’s nice to have snow around the holidays, don’t you think?
- I’m sure glad I’m a thick-coated Scottie. The weather didn’t phase me a bit.

Beautiful pics, Stuart!!! Thanks for sharing.

Wow! I’ve seen snow but I’ve never seen sand. I can’t even imagine snow on the sand. I bets that was pawsome! I likes snow a lot but sometimes I wish I had a nice, thick coat like you do. I bet you stayed cozy and warm.
I luv looking at all your pictures from your vacation. It looks like you had oodles of fun!

We did indeed have oodles of fun. And don’t worry about your coat – I did stay warm, but you’ve got a nice new CONDO to keep you warm!!!!

I’ve been to the beach-one time in Oregon. I’ve played in snow once-it actually stuck in the back yard here in Arizona one March. I can’t imagine the two together. It has been cold here also-got down to 25 one night and He is afraid for his beloved lime, lemon and orange trees.
Citrus trees??? WOW! I wouldn’t know a lemon tree from a begonia.
I’ll keep my paws crossed that those trees are OK.

We have never seen snow on the beach, Stuart. Of course, we visit Nantucket in the summer so that might be an unusual sight!
What beautiful pictures!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
Oh my. We’d love to go to Nantucket…. maybe one day. Guess you have furiends to stay with and don’t need a hotel with dog privileges.
Roooooooo! Stuart
You could surf and snowboard all at the same beach. I’m glad you are having fun!
