Y’all know I like to walk along the backyard planter box, you can barely see where I walk in the top picture, but it’s there. Now the thing not only holds boxwood bushes, but lots of tulips, too!
They're all over the place!
They even have their own little raised bed.
There's some lettuce, too, but I keep sitting on it, so She put little fences up to keep me out. That's mean.
Yep, I’d call this Our own Tulipomania. Not that We live in Holland, mind you. Even though Her father’s father’s people are from there.
Guess these pretty things make up for the daffodillys we missed this year??
What You Learned Today:
- Spring has definitely sprung at Our house.
- But it snowed over the weekend.
- And the temperatures are down in the 20s.
- Hey, if you’ve got flowering stuff where you live and it’s down in the 20s, you need to cover your stuff up!
- Take care of that stuff!
- Ah me….Springtime at my house is a beautiful thing. Guess that’s why March is Scottish Terrier Month. N’est pas?
One of our Mom”s dreams is to go to Holland during tulip season! Maybe one day she’ll make it.

He planted a tulip bulb-it didn’t make it up, I guess like some fruit trees, it needs it to get cold in the winter. We all love lettuce (even Kenzie) but we can’t grow it ourselves, the rabbits are very clever.
That’s sooooo funny, while you were watching the daffodils, those tulips just popped up! They’re beautiful.
Why would She plant lettuce in your sitting place? Humans, who can understand them.

Oh, your flowers are SO pretty! We haven’t seen any flowers here yet. Sometimes it takes a while for them to poke their little heads up.
And I pawsonally think your mom needs to plant that lettuce in a place where you DON’T sit. I tell ya, sometimes humans just don’t THINK.
