Have you ever noticed young people in airports with UAM tags around their necks? That stands for “unaccompanied minor”. In people years, I guess I’m a 5-year-old minor, but in dog years I’m pretty much an adult.
Here I am on Our front stoop. Unaccompanied.
I just love to sit outside and watch things. Cars, people, dogs, cats… you name it.
What You Learned Today:
- This picture was taken from the OTHER side of Our front door.
- I usually don’t look inside through the door; I like looking the other way much better.
- Believe me, They’re not too far away when I’m an UAM.

Our peeps are never more than 6 feet away if we are UAM – that is unless we give the “the slip”. Hehehe!!

Well, They thought I gave Them the slip this morning, but I was hiding in Sniglet’s backyard! Tee Hee!

I have to wear something around my neck. Attached is a piece of metal that says “Maricopa County 057592″. Isn’t it silly that I have to have a licence to be a dog? I’m gonna be a dog no matter what. A UAM can outgrow the sign, I can’t outgrow my tag. I never go to airports, She will NOT fly, period. Go figure, Her Dad was a test pilot who died of natural causes.
She won’t fly? At all? Actually, I’ve never been to an airport. I just heard about these tags from Them. And, you KNOW I wear lots of tags. But not one that says UAM. (Just trying to be creative don’cha know.)
Hey, about that license – We just got Ours a couple of months ago. Now, I’m 5 and have lived here the whole time. “The City” just now got around to asking Them to fork up the money for my license. And the darned thing is just too big to wear. Imagine if I were a teacup chihuahua – it’s hard to imagine I know – but, if I were, THE THING WOULD BE AS BIG AS MY HEAD.
GO RAMS!

Hi Stuart! Thanks for dropping by to celebrate my special day! Mom finally got my post up, so feel free to come back by, but she did add your comment to her tally! Thanks
-Ruby
Stuart, can we follow you any other way than by e-mail? Just wondering, Mom’s not too swift…
-Ruby, Bart and Gizmo
Um….Let me look into that. Good question. I’m thinking that e-mail updates for new posts is about all, but, um, that doesn’t sound quite right does it? (She’s not too swift over here either….)

OH…and thanks so much for dropping by!

Stuart, I have a name tag, county license, a rabies tag, a phone number and address tag, a canine good citizen tag, and a registered pet companion tag ~ I jingle jangle jingle as I go merrily along. I just counted that six tags! I’m lucky no UAM for me. Sweet William the Scot
That’s way more tags than even I have! And I don’t think I’d ever earn a canine good citizen tag. Um, I’m really good at obedience, but I just don’t do everything I’m told all the time. Gee. You’re a Scot to admire!

Bella is our outside girl. She stays outside until about 10 p.m. every night.

Yeesh! I WISH I could be a UAM. Even in the BACK yard, mom’s pokin’ her head out, checking to see if I’m ready to come back inside yet. Uh, no, mom. I’m happy right here layin’ in the sun. She’s such a helicopter pawrent.
I think you’re awfully good for staying on the porch, though. I’m pretty sure I’d have to go sniff this or chase that and then before you know it, they’d bring me home in a police car.

Mine never leave me alone, cuz they know that I WILL give them the slip!! BOL Funnny how we are young but old!!

Hey Stuart – so you got to sit on the front step “unaccompanied” – how great! My peeps would not even consider.. closest I get is the front door or the ever popular walk…wonder what it would be like to be “free” and go wherever we want? But not planning on it too soon – so have a good day!!

Ugg, don’t talk about airports! I got stuck on a plane with the peeps last week 5 hours.
