The Fat Man’s Coming….

On Our holiday trip last year We saw this little tree.

OK. You know the drill. The Fat Man’s coming to town, so you better not be naughty! Just to let you know, I’ll be doing my annual Top Ten Gift Idea Countdown so stay tuned this month. I’ve already found some nice things to give to those you love.

Like these flushable poop bags!

Ah me…there I go again…making myself laugh! Can you imagine? Giving somebody poop bags for the holidays? Wait a minute…that’s not such a bad idea. These, called Flush Doggy, come in three nice little travel-size packs. One fits in your pocket pretty well, or fits in your peep’s pocket pretty well, we don’t have pockets now do we? They flush nicely – or so my peeps say (I’ve never flushed a toilet unless you call kickin’ up my backstep after a poop is flushing the toilet). And they’re reasonably priced even including the shipping. I think my peeps got 60 bags for less than $15. Hey, going green ain’t cheap my friends!) AND, the company makes a donation to the ASPCA AND promotes dog rescue. That’s priceless.

OK. So there you have it. If you don’t have a septic system, go ahead and FLUSH THAT POOP!

Remember to stay tuned for my Gift List coming soon. OH….and if you’re anywhere near River City this weekend, stop by the Bizarre Bazaar and ask for my peep at the Murphies booth OR you can see my other peep at the store itself. Just say, “I’m looking for Stuart’s peep!” and you can meet them.  Murphies has GREAT canine stuff and lots of other things, too. Remember? I went shopping there and shared my finds with you on Valentine’s Day. Great stuff!

That’s it for today. See ya tomorrow. FRIDAY’S FOTO FUN is coming!

What You Learned Today:

  • I’m going shopping for you.
  • I’ll let you know what I find.
  • I’ll count down my Top Ten Gift suggestions.
  • If there’s something you’re looking for, let me know. I’ll try to find it for you.
  • Wish I could think of a great gift for Douglas. I’ve got to hurry! Time’s running out!

for the Christmas Celebration this year, she is making Fergie and I Kilts…since it has already gotten cold here, we will need them…

love your tree with all the shells and stuff…We have sea shells all over our house year round since mum is from Florida…

Oh Stuart you said in another post you have never had a Christmas Tree since you lived with them ~ how sad. You can come to my house and see my tree, but you cannot touch it. It has all porcelain ornaments, it glows like the moon at night.

I can turn the lights on myself ~ it has the clapper and if I bark twice I can turn it on or off. heheheh!!

As far as your gift for Douglas, remember food is always appreciated and everyone needs it. If you want to keep Douglas as a furend, don’t send him fruit cake-you’ll just get it back next year.

  4. Douglas says:

Oh Stuart, i know whatever you send me will be grrreat! Even fruitcake-I can my kittie siblings eat it!
My Peeps put up a tree but I’m not allowed around it unless they’re home. They think I’ll try to eat it or something…

    Rooooo!

    Hi Stuart,
Thanks for all you smart and insightful “Scotty” words! I am Toby (living in the Sauer Garden area of Richmond). I think your peep should share this link on one of your blogs. I watched this with my human (I love to watch other animals on video and TV). This one made even this “Snotty Scotty” cry. You and I are so lucky to have humans (peeps) who take good care of us! Not to mention how much richer their lives are to have us Scotties love them back. Below is the link

    • Stuart’s peep here. Thank you, Anna, for posting this link. At first, I thought I wouldn’t watch the video – just read the TIME story. But I watched it.

I can’t imagine the life of a pharma lab worker whose job is to test animals for the benefit of humans. How they go to sleep at night. How they look into the eyes of a living, breathing creature whose job, among other things, is to live and love unconditionally. And to be loved in return. How they wake up in the morning and do it all over again. How they feel when a dog looks back at them with their soulful eyes.

The comments at the end of the TIME story are thought provoking. Seems to me, it’s time we humans find another way to test things. Period.

      Thank you again for posting.

OH yeah!!! We love the gift lists!!! Can’t wait! How are you my friend…haven’t been around much but have been trying to keep up…she’s got me running around shopping and decorating and all I want to do is rest and take it easy. She had the nerve to tell me I have to help her wrap! Doesn’t she know I don’t have thumbs!?
