I’m not much of a warmonger, but, at times in the history of the USofA, we’ve had to do the right thing. By keeping folks out of harm’s way. By ridding the world of people so evil, that it’s hard to imagine they ever existed.
And we were able to do that because of the men and women who placed our country above all else. To my grandpeeps and to those before them who gave themselves selflessly to this country and to all it stood for. No matter what side of the Mason-Dixon line or the Atlantic they were on.
And to those who have died in senseless wars in our more modern history where the lines of what’s right and what’s wrong are a bit more blurry.
Paws crossed that this stuff will stop.
What You Learned Today:
- Thank you.
- And let us not forget about our 4-legged patriots who served and died to help their best friends stay safe and free.
- ArrooOOOOOOOOO!

My peep got out her Dad’s flag that was given to her when he died because he served in WW II. Ir is flying today from our porch.

Very, very will said Stuart.

Well said, Stuart. Happy Memorial Day.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Remembering those who have made the supreme sacrifice is very important. Here in Australia we do on ANZAC day.
My humans make ANZAC biscuits and watch soldiers march to pay their respects. Nearling 100000 young Aussie men died in WWI and WWII alone, and my grandpeep’s brother who was a POW in Burma was among them. SO much loss for one nation is a hard thing to bare and should never be forgotten.
I hope you have a solemn Memorial Day Stuart.
Woofs,
Dougall.
To all who have lost to keep us free! AND to the Dogs out there too helping the fight!!
