Hard to believe summer’s almost over. At least where We live. It’s back-to-school time. Pools will be closing soon. But not this one! IT’S A SCOTTIE POOL! I just love this picture. Don’t you?
What You Learned Today:
- Fall’s on the way.
- It can’t come soon enough for me.
- I’ve had it with summer heat and thunderstorms and lightening.
- Just last night I had to curl up on the pillows between the peeps’ heads.
- Too much heat lightening going on in the distance. It kept me up all night.
- AND, I had to wear my Thundershirt on Saturday. It really helped.

It’s still summer here. Summer runs from May 20 to October 10. Autumn October 11 to November 18. Winter November 18 to January 21. Spring from Jan 22 to May 19. It’s still 100.

Our autumn is really also called “indian summer” (we’re sure there’s so political correctness error there) where the weather FINALLY warms up, the cloud cover goes away, and is sunny gorgeous from late Aug to mid October (usually a balmy 70-80). Perfect for us schnauzers.
We’re soooo ready for autumn too. Though, for reasons that are complete opposite than yours
Kyla is so funny with her seasons. She should probably move to San Francisco with her human who used to live here to escape those rattlers and dry dry heat.

Hmmm that scottie pool looks like a pawsome idea – going to make sure mom sees it and makes a plan for Sammy and I this summer. It’s the beginning of spring here by us but boy has the temperature just rocketed over night! Mom reckons we are in for a hot summer. Sorry to hear about the thunder etc on your side – we hope it lets up soon.
