OK. The sample came back OKEYDOKEY today. No more parasites. The Trifexis seems to be working. That and the Panacur medicine I’ve been on.
Oh me. It was unfortunate that my heartworm/flea/parasite medication didn’t work back in July, but we switched from Sentinel to Trifexis and that seemed to work. Let’s hope so.
I hate this stuff. They hate putting me on meds, but a guy’s gotta do what a guy’s gotta do, right? I eat stuff and walk through stuff and lick my feet and gnaw on nasty things and, where I live, parasites live and spread just about everywhere all the time.
Have you visited your dogtor and had your tests lately? Do it now, K? I’d hate to lose you.
What You Learned Today:
- Worms are no fun.
- If left untreated, they can kill us.
- If you haven’t visited your dogtor lately, please do.
- Because I care. Truly. I do.
- Oh…and that applies to your PEEPS, TOO.
- Bark at them to go to their dogtor, too.

A great message mate, everyone should go and have a check up! (I just had one, so I’m okay.)
Whew. Glad you’re OK.
Well done. We can’t lose our Stu!
And we can’t lose our Kyla or Kenzie, now can we? The peeps, too!
Lee took me for my test two months ago. No ugly parasites inside of me. Lee just wishes she could stay away from the doctor.
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
OH my. My peep has to have one of those colon-op-see-me things. It ain’t pretty. Hug your Lee. She needs you pal! (Me, too!)
yep, we just had our annual check up. Then last week, I Daisy, had an erky stomach and had the runs for several days. Of course, just when SHE was going to take me to the dogters, I got better.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
LOL! That happens to Us, too. I get erky, then I get better. Tee Hee! Y’all are too funny!
Glad to hear you’re all clear!
Thanks my friend. Hope you’re good to go, too!
I was at my Dogtor yesterday, I’ve been doing the itchy and scratchy show the last while. He gave me some pills two weeks ago as well as a shot in the bum (not impressed with that last…), but while it helped a bit, I’m still scratching. So he ordered up some medicated shampoo, and now not only did I get a bath today, I can look forward to one on Sunday, and next Wednesday…Hooray…NOT!
Ah well, I suppose they mean well.
Arroos to you,
Piper MacT
Oh Piper MacT. I feel your pain. They do mean well. Really. They do. Just give them “that look” and maybe you’ll get a trip to the local watering hole and grab a snatch of food after each and every bath. Ya think? Some cheese and stuff. Yeah. That’d be good.
Glad that everything came out ok in the end…no pun intended, Stuart!!
ROFL!!! I love puns.
Eeew, we’re sorry you had to swallow that Panacur that tastes very, very bad but works very well.
OH!! I had to tell the peeps about that nasty taste. So, She put it in some rice with chicken broth and it wasn’t so bad.
Oh dear. The things we go through…..
Glad the tests went well! I take my meds like a champ every month and stay wormie free!
Yeah, me too, except the meds stopped working. Let’s hope this new one does the trick! Stay well!
Very nice public service announcement, Stu! We just had all our shots & started a new medication, Revolution, because mama says we’re are tick magnets! He a great weekend!
Your fellow beards,
Joules & Prescott
Huummm. Revolution. I’ll have to look into that as a back up for if the Trifexis doesn’t work! Enjoy the weekend! (Without ticks, please.)
Great news!
Yippee!
So glad to hear you are worm and mite free again!!
Have a grrreat weekend!
Wally & Sammy
