In I go. Out I go. In and out. I love porches. I love it when sliding doors are open and I can come and go as I please. Don’t you?
Here I am coming back in at the place We stayed on Our holiday trip. More about that later. I owe you a trip report now that I think about it.
It’s Monday and I promised I’d tell you last Saturday’s “Where In The World” location today. So here I am. Here goes: On Saturday I was visiting Roanoke Island. Manteo, North Carolina. Woot!
Speaking of Monday….have you ever noticed that humans don’t like Mondays? Most of them don’t.
Me? I don’t care. All days are pretty much the same to moi. I really don’t think we pooches can tell the diff between Monday and Thursday. Do you?
What You Learned Today:
- It’s Monday. Just like any other day.
- Makes no diff to me.
- Some humans don’t like Mondays, but I like all days.
- Guess that’s because I don’t have a 9 – 5 j-o-b to complain about.
- On second thought….I do have a job. It’s important and I do it well if I say so myself.
- Keeping the all clear for me and my peeps is pretty important stuff. No matter what day it is.

An open sliding door? That is truly the best of both worlds. Let’s just hope the bugs or other critters don’t think it’s an open invitation!
Roanoke Island looks like a place I hope I get to visit. My friend left the door open and had a couple of snakes come in the house. So she won’t let me have any fun now, like leaving the door open. She even built a side yard with stones in it that I have to use, so that she can see if there is a snake better. My partner in crime, Duncan, likes the stones because that he doesn’t have to clean his feet so much, incessantly licking and getting yelled at all the time. Me, I’d prefer the open door. How cool is that? ArrooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOO!
We know the difference between “weekdays” and “weekend days” – week days are when mom & dad leave early and we only see them again later in the day (close to night time) and weekend days are when mom & dad are home from morning to night & we get to spend lots of time with them. We love weekend days best.
Our patio door is always open so that we can see what is going on inside the house BUT it has a security gate which is pretty much always closed & locked ‘cos we live in a country that unfortunately has a high crime rate. Mom tells us stories of when she was young and all the houses had low walls or no walls at all and all the doors and windows were unbarred. She says she misses it.
Have a grrreat day Stu!!

I don’t like mondays as mummy and daddy are back to work after the weekend:-(
ps I have something for you on my bloggy:-) http://wp.me/p2h87n-C1
Oh, to be a dog!
We just love days! Any days! All days! We’re lucky that She stays at home with us and we get to enjoy the days together. We let Him join in when He gets home and also at the weekends too! But the days are the bestest!
Oh Stuart…we are so lucky too. our door to the deck is soooo cool. we can go out and bark at everything in the woods any time we want. Mum keeps the gate up so we can’t get in the mud, but thats fine with me …dont need that nasty’ between my toesies, but we can keep the fuzzy tail critters at bay. then on nice days we can go in the yard and really keep the woods on alert. the fence is a bummer, but whatcha’ going to do with over protecter mum keeping us safe…

Nope, Mondays are different. They’re out for the evening because of work.
Doggie door – we have the best Mom cause she is too lazy to keep getting up and down to open the door so she has always INSISTED that where ever we live – we have our own doggie door. Can’t wait to read about you holiday – and love that diner mat!
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down ~ That song is not true for me, just rainy days get me down. I go to the door and when I see the rain I put it into reverse.

I NEVER gets to have the doors open for me. The kitties would run out of them and Momma says she’d never see them again. Siiiiigh. But when we visit Grandma and Grandpa’s, there’s a door just for US that we can run in and out all day long. It’s pawsome!
Nice to meet you. I see the door and I look outside in nature. I haven’t quite gotten myself worked up to go out into it yet. Mom says its a big world out there but I’m kind of comfortable in my home. It’s too cold right now. Maybe this spring? XOXO – Bacon
another good note…Mum and I help with a friend a couple of day during the week…she is older with two girley dogs…you wont believe it, but they have the biggest dog house in the world…a huge room with windows and screens and a doggy door to the outside…( some people call it a florida room but it’s really for the dogs) We’s all lubes it..and can even sit in the build in window seats for dogs…
…I will send you a cool picture of this “dog house one day.

Mr. Stuart, it is nice to come and go, isn’t it? I have a doggie door to go out and in too, but Mom closes it at night now because our neighbor saw a coyote in our nayborhood and she is afraid that a coyote would think I was a delishus morsel. All I know about Mondays is that it is usually Mom’s stay-at-home day and I help her with housework and lawndree stuffs!
