Y’all might remember the trouble I’ve been having taking my monthly heartworm, whipworm and flea medication.
Nothing. I repeat: Nothing made me want to chew and swallow that thing. I hate that damned darned thing.
Until today. The peep thought She’d start a day early so I’d be half way through by the 5th of February with only the other half to go.
Many of you couldn’t believe I don’t eat cheese, or peanut butter, or pill pockets and stuff.
Here’s my secret: ORGANIC PEANUT BUTTER. When only the best will do.
What You Learned Today:
- I have high-fallutin’ tastes.
- I don’t like regular peanut butter.
- Only the organic, no-preservative EXPENSIVE stuff will do.
- Especially around monthly pill time.
- Whew.
- The peeps are happy.
- When the peeps are happy, I’m happy.

My mom tries to hide medicines in my food as well. Of course, there’s not much that I not like to eat. LOL.
Well Stuart…we gotta do what ‘we’ do !!! If organic peanut butter is the ticket , then so be it !!!
Good thing is you got that dang pill down..”Yippie”
AROoOo ~~~~ L&M
Of course, you are a Scottie after all!
Organic peanut butter? *BBBBOL* We LOVE it Stu!!! And well done to your peeps for finding you something to help with all the meds – even if it is expensive.

We always gobble ours up (except Roxy), so you may need another dog around to have some competition for the treat…BOL! We’ll try the peanut butter with Roxy. She’s had the heartworm needle but needs the other wormer every three months.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Stuart, you almost have it made. You’ve chosen your preferred vehicle for pills. Now, we have to work on the quantity. Believe me, I have this down. Start responding to only more and more quantities of organic PB. Soon you’ll be in the ads with Mr. Peanut and also invited down to Jimmy Carter’s home. Work it for all it’s worth-it’s food after all!
LItchi doesn’t like peanut butter at all! Won’t touch the stuff. For her, it’s meat or nothing. Glad your Mom found a way to get the horrible pills down your throat.
Mummy crushes my worming tablet up and mixes it with something yummy. I’m not a fan of peanut butter either, but I love ketchup:-)
After my C-section I got something called Recovery RS Royal Canin Veterinary Diet. It comes in a 5.8 oz can. Now, that is truly something that deserves the name “ROYAL”. I demand it now for any pills. But sadly, of course, I don’t always get my way. So in that case, in true terrier fashion, I swallow it whole in one bite, so I don’t have to taste the nasty thing! Even my puppies go crazy for it. They were giving my peep a hard time about eating their weaning food. So she add a teaspoon of this stuff and they went to town, which is a huge relief to me, believe you me. Their teeth are like razor blades LOL
Have you tried hotdog….mom cuts off a piece and pokes the pill inside
That is the only type of peanut butter we buy. Lee has to stir and stir to get the oil mixed and I drool and drool while she does the mixing.
