Ah! A Good Chew.
Now, I know some people hate these things. But I just couldn’t live without a good ‘ole stinky cow toe. Actually, they’re not “toes,” they’re “hooves.” I can’t tell you how much I love to chew these things. You can’t really see it in this picture, ’cause I’ve got my foot on it to keep it still while I just chew the daylights out of it. (That’s a leaf in front of me on the slate path…not the toe.) I’m really young in this picture, so I’ve been chewing these things for a while now.
What You Learned Today:
- Chewing things is good. Puppies like to chew. We adults like to chew. Just make sure that whatever it is that we’re chewing is the size of something that we can’t swallow by mistake. And make sure it won’t fall apart into pieces that’ll get stuck in our throats. Or something we’ll eat entirely. (Guess that’s why I don’t get stuffed toys anymore. I just love to swallow the guts of those things. And, well, they have to come out sometime. Eeewww! Seriously, She won’t let me have them anymore ’cause those guts can make me sick.)
- Cow toes are tasty. And smelly. Yum!
- Scottie jaws are powerful chewers.
