Gift Idea #4

A new friend!

One can never have too many Scotties in the house.  Ask my Godmother (those are her feet).  She breeds, trains, grooms and shows Scotties and knows EVERYTHING.  She often tells Us that I might like a friend around the house.   (Um…no.  I’m the center of attention and would just keel over and die if I had to share Them with anyone else.) But lots of my Scottie friends have housemates.  (So, there might be something to this idea after all.)

So, that said, here’s Gift Idea #4: ANOTHER POOCH!  (Or for those of you poor souls who aren’t blessed every day with a canine lick coming your way: YOUR FIRST DOG – let’s hope it’s a Scottie for heaven’s sake.)

What You Learned Today:

  • Your pooch might like a little company.  Consider asking your vet if it’s a good idea to get another one.
  • There are LOTS of us out there, I’m sad to say, that don’t have homes at all let alone safe and loving ones (like yours).
  • Rescue a Scottie for the holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (Actually, this isn’t something you can just go out and do.  It takes time.  BUT, it would be a nice gift to make the commitment to do it wouldn’t it??)
  • We pooches like to sniff each other, so don’t be offended that I’m getting to know my friend in this picture.  It’s just what we do. Sniffing is a good thing.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!
