Fun With a Rake

I HATE a rake. And a broom....and a vacuum cleaner...

It’s a wonder I haven’t put my eye out fighting with this thing. It’s called a rake. And I can tell when it’s coming out of its home. It’s just a wicked thing. And I try to eat it every time I see it. I do the same thing with a broom. (And, from a previous post, you know how I feel about a vacuum cleaner.  God forbid….  But I react differently with a rake.)

What You Learned Today:

  • We Scotties are ferocious.  Even if it’s just a rake we’re trying to kill.
  • Be careful with these things.  Those little wires thing-y’s can hurt your eyes!
  • I don’t like a leaf blower either.
  • You should see all the teeth marks on our garden tools. YIKES.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. Gosh, we haven’t seen one of those in awhile, Stuart! The tool of choice these days seems to be a snow shovel!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

Clara, my present Scottie and Duncan, my previous Scottie, both hate the rake. Duncan even caught it unattended one day and chew the end prongs off (ours is plastic)

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
