Playing With Scout – No Shopping Yet!

Oh, but I love to bark at Scout.

So, here we are still romping in the snow.  They came and plowed and spread sand and stuff in front of Our house this morning.  I hate that stuff.  It was supposed to snow again today, but I don’t think it’s going to.  But the weekend – now there’s a different story.  We might get some more.

OH and here’s an update: because They can’t get the car out, I haven’t been Valentine’s Day shopping yet.  But don’t forget about this place.  You order online from this place and the Scottie stuff is pretty cool.  I promise, I’m going shopping this week.  I can’t wait!  Then, I’ll post my gift ideas for you.

What You Learned Today:

  • We Scotties simply must get out of the house several times a day.  Even in the snow. We have to play!
  • We like the snow.  But we don’t like road chemicals.
  • We get bored very easily.  Right now, for example, I MADE Him play with me and that torn up Taco Bell stuffed dog I’ve told you about.  (He finds it difficult to say “no” to me.  And I know that.  Clever, huh?)

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. Hey Stu,

We’ve been playing in the tracks too – in fact Dad scraped our road – check out our Scottie shadows today – who needs a stinking groundhog?

Scout looks like a fun friend. We have a new cousin Yellow Lab who is named Scout, but we haven’t got to meet him yet.

Thanks for sending us to S & H Scottie Collectibles. Mom is showing the website to Dad.

    • Yeah, that groundhog doesn’t hold a candle your shadows. Take that “Phil.” (Isn’t that the groundhog’s name?) Scout is fun and I know your Scout is going to be fun. Those labs have big feet don’t they? Hey, you can bring him to my house and get him to make some tracks for me to walk in! Now there’s an idea. Roo Roo, Stuart

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
