I can’t believe all the snow We’ve had at Our house. I know a lot of you are thinking, “This guy’s crazy! What’s the big deal about snow?” Well, let me tell you. It’s snowed here every month for the last three. And I don’t mean a “dusting” (Is that how you say that? When snow just covers the ground only a little bit?) It’s truly dumped on Us. And I’ve had fun walking around the neighborhood completely NAKED! No collar! No nothing! Well, sometimes I did have my collar on, but not all the time. So, you see, this little ski poster I’m looking at is quite appropriate. They have lots of these types of vintage poster things around this store I’m visiting.
But let’s get back to Valentine’s Day shopping shall we? Have you forgotten I’m giving you my gift suggestions? Hurry! Not much time left.
Get a load of this pin:
And this one:
And how about all these things?
Or these things?
Before Oprah goes off the air, she should check out this stuff and GIVE SOME TO EVERYBODY AT HER SHOW!!
Be sure to click on these photos to make them bigger. So you can study them.
I wear a collar with tags on it. Lots of tags. You should, too! Give a collar for Valentine’s Day – why not? Aren’t necklaces like collars? They are to me. ‘Nuff said.
What You Learned Today:
- Everybody needs a little bling. Or, a lot of bling. Men can wear bling, too. Like pins. I know if that top-hat pin had ME on it instead of that ‘ole Boston Terrier, He’d wear it. On His lapel. When They go out. (I know what you’re thinking, “Well, Stuart, you should just buy Him one!” I might just do that…)
- When They got married 24 years ago on Valentine’s Day (I told you about that the other day, but I forgot to mention, that the day after they were married, He had to have a root canal. Whatever that is. On Their honeymoon. I don’t think that’s what you’re supposed to be doing on your honeymoon, is it? I wouldn’t know. I’ve never had one. Come to think of it… I’ve never had a root canal either.) Sorry, I digressed…. When They got married, a friend of His made Them a pair of heart pins. They still have them. And They still wear them every anniversary. So, see, guys can wear bling.
Our Mom loves that Scottie pin made out of watch parts – where did you find that one???

All of these things came from Murphies. Send them an e-mail at murfmc@yahoo.com or call them at 1-804-359-4898. Thanks for reading! Glad you like what I found! It’s fun to shop. Roo Roo, Stuart

We have the perfect place for it. Thanks for sharing! And Happy Valentine’s Day to you and yours. Scottie kisses all the way around, Roo Roo, Stuart

Hey, Stuart!
Stuart, you have got to stop writing about all this mushy Valentine stuff. My Mama got all teary-eyed (aren’t I smart to know a word like THAT?) when she read about your peeps’ heart pins and how they wear them on Valentine’s Day even after 24 years. I hate to see my Mama cry. I just want her to be happy. After all, she saved me from who knows WHAT?
When she finished that book she read recently, The Art of Racing in the Rain, -you know – the one written by a dog – she cried so hard and for so long that it almost broke my heart. i tried to make her feel better by putting my nose in her lap and looking at her with my soulful (another good word, huh?) eyes. I think it helped.
Gotta go and check on my toys, now, ok?

Hey Emma! Thanks for the photo you sent! You’re a dreamboat… The heart pin story gets better: when They were robbed before I came to live with Them, those pins were two things NOT taken. Guess they were still pinned to a couple of coats or something. I’ll be sure NOT to tell Her about that book your Mama read. It’s not nice to see our peeps cry is it??? Roo Roo, Stuart
