A Baby Nap

Ah. A nice soft blank-y, a toe, and a toy.

Look how small I am compared to the size of my cow toe! Wow. It’s hard to believe I was this little.

(For those who just joined us, We’re all celebrating my “Gotcha Day” with puppy photos for a while. My “Gotcha Day” was four years ago May 31st when They first got me.)

Puppy naps are quite important, you know. So are adult naps. I love to nap.

Obviously, I got off to a great start!

What You Learned Today:

  • Dogs. Sleep. A. Lot. Period.
  • Don’t be alarmed.
  • It’s a natural thing.
  • There are lots of puppy pictures of me coming up. So be sure to come back and visit. Often.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

    Such a big puppy belly!!!

  2. My Mama wants to know where you get a cow toe? Doesn’t the cow miss her toe?
Mama loves this picture, too. She said that she wishes she had seen me when I was little. I bet I was as cute as you. But we’ll never know, will we?

    • Oh Emma Doodle, don’t get me started on where cow toes come from, ’cause I’m not sure I want to go there….. BUT, if you’d like a toe, I’ll see to it personally that you get one. And I don’t think the little moo moo will miss it. Sad, but true. Roooooooooooooooooo, Stuart

  3. You are just the sweetest!! We can hardly wait to see more of your baby pictures. Our Mom won’t let us have cow toes – and we have plenty of cows – she says they need all of their toes! And she also says they stink – guess that must be an outside toy, huh?

    • Whew-weeeee do they ever stink! Your mom is, as always, correct. But I have to admit – I chew on them inside and out. I bury them, too; go back and find them, and bring them back in the house. (Can you tell I truly rule the roost???) Roooo! Stuart PS I love all your pictures!

  4. Kendra, Daisy and Bella says:

Stuart, you should make a little slideshow of you as a baby with John Lennon’s ‘Beautiful Boy’ playing in the background.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
