There’s no getting away from a Scottie profile is there? Even one with only one ear showing. You can still tell it’s a Scottie.
And you know this shadow is yours truly. Who else would have that bent tail?
What You Learned Today:
- Scotties have that undeniable look. Those ears, that skirt, and the beard.
- Some of us have bent tails. NOT. We’re not supposed to have bent tails, but the folks who bred my parents didn’t take good care of us puppies.
- When puppies are born with bent tails, you can bend them back ever so gently. Just like a pipe cleaner!
Makes me appreciate how unique my Button is when I view her running across the yard. Sometimes her little legs go faster than her body and she tumbles, quickly gets up, looks around as if to see if anyone else saw the spill because she acts embarrassed. Cracks us up! Known two Scotties with crooked tails and didn’t know it could be remedied.
I’ve done that! I seem to tumble a lot. She thinks it’s because of my toenails, but, really I just get so excited. Roo Roo, Stuart
Our Mom thinks Scottie shadows are the best!! And we agree.
What a great shadow shot, Stuart!
Love ya lots

Love your shadow, Stuart and your signature bent tail. Scottie outlines are just soooo distinctive, aren’t they?

Lady’s boy Tobias has a slightly bent tail too Stuart – we worked hard to make sure it went straight and true – but still has a little ‘crook’ –
we know from Aunt Carol how to fix those things for the future..Glad you were a good scottie during Halloween – we all greeted everyone each time they rang the doorbell..was such fun!!!’
