The Look of Love

I sure love you.

I have this “look” that I give Him or Her whenever I’m feeling, you know, in a love-y mood. I get that way sometimes. Do you?

This was my very first day at my new home. My “gotcha day” four years ago.  Guess We should have posted this on Father’s Day.

‘Cause I sure am glad I’m His boy.

The look of contentment: a lap snooze.

What You Learned Today:

  • Dogs add such life to day-to-day experiences. Uh..I mean…. HUMANS mean so much to me.
  • I love mine to pieces. (Just don’t tell Them that too often.)

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. That first picture is priceless -the look of an adoring puppy – we do that sometimes for our peeps too, but we try not to let them see it too often!

Ah…how sweet! Working it, huh? I get clingy too sometimes. I’ll get close to her and paw at her till she picks me up and snuggles me. That’s when I use THAT look. If I do that to the Mr., he gives me cookies and nummie nums. Sometimes I just wanna be snuggled and not fed.

Yeah, our human loves that special look, too. Sometimes when we’re not too busy looking for cats, we get snuggly like that….She just loves it.

No one could mistake that look.
