OK. Enough already. I hate the heat and everybody knows it. They hate it too and We’re all making Each Other miserable.
So, last evening I decided to chase something in my backyard kingdom. In spite of the heat. (It wasn’t easy, let me tell you. Pantin’ all the way.)
For those of you not familiar with the Scottie butt, here it is.
And here it is again.
Sometimes you can barely see it.
Butt it’s there!
What You Learned Today:
- Since we’re terriers, Scotties just HAVE to stick our noses in something. It’s because we smell a critter. And we have to get it.
- Sometimes this means we poke around in things until we disappear. With only our Butts showing.
- Pretty cute, huh?
Love it – I’ve seen the “Scottie butt” many times with my two. They’re always sticking their noses in something and leaving their butts in the air!!! Last night, Hamish was “worrying” a bumblebee – he didn’t get stung, which is a miracle, but he sure came close. I saw him and told him to “leave it” and he actually did!!! Miracle of miracles :o)
Heat here is awful so lots of time is spent indoors in front of the fans trying to keep cool. We’re praying for rain and cool temps – maybe tomorrow???
Take care –
Judie
Nothin’ BUTT Scotties – that’s our motto!!
Also a nice impression of the monster under the bed
We know the Butt thing. Actually most of our photographs are taken at that angle!
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
PeeS. We hope those critters know they aren’t in charge just because it’s hot.
BUT….it’s such a CUTE butt!
teehee,
Bonnie
