Sulking on a Sunday

This is me in my sulking mood.

Well, I managed to survive race weekend. (I still say those cars sound like a bunch of BIG bumblebees going around in circles.)

So, yesterday They left me all day to go visit relatives somewhere on the Chesapeake Bay. Now, I ask you, how could spending the day on the water be any more fun than spending it with me? All was not lost, though, I was at my girlfriends’ house next door. That was the ONLY consolation I assure you.

Then, to top it off, it rained a little bit this morning so there’s no romping outside for me today. (Not that I romp at all mind you, it’s just that if I wanted to, I couldn’t. Its the point of it all you see.)

So, this is why I’m sulking. A big ‘ole Scottie Sulk.

What You Learned Today:

  • Scotties sulk. That’s just the way it is.
  • If you’re looking for a pooch who’ll love all over you all the time with tail waggin’ and tongue lappin’, look elsewhere. Cause it’s not us.
  • We DO love our peeps though. Don’t get me wrong.
  • Yeah, I guess I’ll have to show Them some love at some point today. But right now, I’m just sulking.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!
