You Should See My Feet Today

Nice clean toes. Not today, though.

You should see my feet. It rained earlier – if you can call it that. Just enough to make things messy. And, of course, I found a nice little hole on Our walk and had to check it out.

The hole is now a nice BIG hole. (Remember: terrier = earth = DIG IN THE DIRT.)

I need a pedicure.

What You Learned Today:

  • Terriers dig. That’s just the way it is.
  • Scotties don’t care if it’s raining or not. Digging is always fun.
  • So if you’re looking for a tidy dog to be friends with, don’t choose a Scottie. Oh, we can be tidy. Like yesterday when I had a little brushin’ session for about half an hour. Boy was I neat and tidy.
  • Not today.

About The Scottie Chronicles

The Scottie Chronicles began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. He passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty canine cancer that took him far too early. He would have been 10 years old in March 2016. The Scottie Chronicles is dedicated to Stuart and the joy he shared with everyone who met him or saw him from afar. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. We need a pedicure too – Mom’s hand dremel tool gave up the ghost – Piper probably helped it and now she is threatening to get one that you plug into the wall so that the battery isn’t constantly running out.
