About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart, having a car seat doesn’t mean you can’t sleep. It gives you the option to sight-see or sleep. You can sleep in those boring urban areas but see everything when you’re in varmint country. Having choices is good. I don’t always get them. I just finished breakfast and I don’t have the choice of getting my dinner NOW. Bummer.

  2. We travel in style. We each have a snoozer car seat since we were wee puggies. I’m afraid of being in a car if I don’t have a car seat!

Enjoy which ever one you get.

    Drools and licks,
    Minnie and Mack

Stuart, you’ve got to see all the stuff out there in the world. Get a booster seat!

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  4. Mayzie says:

Me and Brudder Ranger never ever look out the window when we drive somewheres. We just lay down and take a nice long snooze. We figure that if you can’t smell it, it’s just not that interesting.

But who knows? Maybe you’ll actually like seeing all the stuff zoom by!

    Wiggles & Wags,

Hi there!!! If it’s not too late, I agree with the booster seat idea!! If you are anything like me, all i need to do is see what’s out there and I won’t move. They have these giant black foam booster things lined with nice soft fabric and its just enough to get me to the level where I can see it all!! I drove to VT and back in one of those and I loved it. I could lay down when I needed to and could sit up and see the scenery when I wanted. They are expensive but so worth it. They way you don’t have to stand on your legs and get tired. Hope it helps!!!

  6. We all love our seat harnesses – and if Lilly is setting on Mom’s lap, she has her harness on and it is hooked to Mom’s seatbelt. Otherwise, if she is in the seat alone, it snaps into the seat belt thingie. It’s so much safer for us. Our Mom has us identified by tag and microchip so if she ever had an accident and heaven forbid, one of us got away, she could be notified – and also our Vet. Safety is the key, but we don’t have to tell you that – you and your Peeps are on top of it!!

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
