Here’s a Quick Question

Help me answer this question for Duncan, will you?

Hey y’all… of my friends sent me a note and needs to know something. Can you help?

Here goes:

MyPerson opened a new bag of Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Venison this morning and the kibble looks different.  It’s bigger and lighter in color.  I read that some of your friends also eat this food.  Would it be possible for you to ask if anyone has noticed the difference and if anyone has had any trouble with it?   Thanks, Stuart!

Well, Duncan, I don’t know personally, but let’s hope somebody out there can comment on your query.

Speaking of dog food, I want to thank everybody again for taking the time to tell me about their diets a while back. I’m still trying to figure out why I’m not losing any weight in spite of my strict regimen. HOLD THE PHONE…. since I’m asking a question for Duncan, why not ask MY OWN QUESTION about specific dog food?  DUH…

OK…here’s my question: does anybody out there eat California Natural low-calorie food? If so, have you noticed a change in the formulation at all?

There. We’ll see what happens. Um….that’s really two quick questions instead of one. Sorry.

We can’t comment on THAT food; but companies are always trying to ‘improve’ their products and often ruin what we liked about it. Go figure.

Stuart, Bella and I have the the same food and same exercise and she is normal weight and I look like a keg. She does run around the yard more than me but not that much. I’m still trying to figure that out.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  2. Piper MacT says:

Have you tried a senior dog food? They have less calories for the same bulk. Also raw carrots fill up the tummy and keep your breath sweet at almost no calories. I don’t know how much you weigh but 25 pounds is ok for a male Scotty, I’m just about 22 pounds and none of it is fat.

    all the best,

  3. Hoke says:

Maybe you are just at the weight your bodies comfortable with? I can’t lose any weight either but as long as my hearts healthy, the rest is just more to love:)

It appears nobody here can help Duncan. I can’t either because I’ve never eaten or even seen this food. Try the company online-most every site has a “contact us” with an email address and/or points you to an 800 number. Duncan, remember you’re a terrier and won’t get off this case without an answer.

  5. Noodledog says:

Natural Balance sweet tatoe & venison, thats’ what I eat all the time. The kibbles do vary from bag to bag, in size & color, and Mom said the canned food varies from can to can, too. She has saved the bags to compare ingredients, but couldn’t find any changes. She thinks its the sweet tatoes that make the color different.

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
