Desperately Seeking Dillys

Whew, I'm pooped.

It’s tiring looking for dillys all day long. Remember I told you that I’m going to update you about Our daffodillys. Well, I’m still looking.

See, We noticed yesterday that only half of Our dillys actually bloomed. We have lots and lots of green frondy-looking leaves, but not as many blooms as last year.

And it’s not just at Our house. We noticed on Our evening constitutional yesterday that everybody else’s dillys are about half blooming, too.

Wonder whassup with that???

What You Learned Today:

  • It’s only mid-March and there are no more dillys coming up. Well, some of the later blooming ones are coming, but not as many.
  • I love dillys.
  • Spring has sprung, but only half way.
  • We do, however, have some nice tulips coming along.
  • And lettuce for Her. If I’d just keep out of it and not sit on them. I tend to do that.

Well I have croocups (crocus) everywhere and I have an Easter Bunny who (if I am not watching) enjoys eating half of every color flower. Guess Bunny likes a flower salad. When my twolips come guess they will be onelips. Sweet William The Scot

  2. We’ve seen lots of daffie leaves and even a few swelling buds but no yellow in our neighborhood yet, Stuart!

    Dear Stuart,

Nature sent beauty to a nation cursed.

Too many nations with too many curses.

Our lack of blossoms sends its finery with a bow toward East and West.

Mind you, I nudge a blossom for its scent and texture. You long for green beans.

I lied. I see a fishy Rorschach everywhere.

    A meow to your bark,
