What a Riot! Huh?

Wonder if it's safe to go outside??

Y’all know I love to watch TV. Here’s the big screen I watch at the front door. Right now I’m wondering if it’s safe to go outside let alone to watch my TV.

See, after the VCU Rams lost to Butler Saturday night, things got a little freaky here in River City. People were throwing bricks through windows, setting fires and then, get this, the police had to use teargas!!

Hey. Wonder if that’s what happens when soccer teams lose their games?

Glad I’m not a sports fan. Except Scottie Games (you know, like Reindeer Games). Scottie Games require diligence, tenacity and above all else, stamina.

It takes lots of skill to rid the world of pesky squirrels, rampant rodents and various undesirables.

No teargas required.

What You Learned Today:

  • Humans do some really stupid stuff sometimes.
  • Scotties never do.
  • Hey, all in all, the Rams did a great job.
  • I’m more into Aries Rams. She’s one of those. Her birthday is coming up. Yippee! I’m gonna have to go get Her a present.
  • Happy Monday everyone!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. Let me know when Scout goes by your TV set so I can be on the lookout for him here. I swear he makes me crazy with love.

On the other hand, it is a terrible shame that some people (just a few, mind you) got out of hand the other night. There were thousands of others who did not cause any trouble. We watched the game on the “other” TV set and our team played their hearts out. I think most people are still proud of them and are so happy that they made it to the big game Saturday night. I hope that Richmond gives them a parade. Let’s go!

    • I think you’re right my Emma P. WE can certainly arrange a Ram parade. And pick up all the leftover food in the street! Tee Hee!

Hey, the Scout show usually comes on in the afternoon. I’ll give you a big ‘ole Roo Roo when it starts, OK?

      Roodles, Stuart

  2. What a shame when humans get out of hand – a pack of wild dogs have more manners!!

    XOXO

  3. Kyla says:

Get Her a present? When it is raining, I don’t like to go out. So I don’t use the doggie door when it is wet. When They get up, She will tell Him, “Kyla left you a present in the living room”. Fortunately, it doesn’t rain much around here.

    • BOFL!!!! You are just too funny my Kyla friend. That’s NOT the kind of present She’d like (I don’t think), though I did leave Them one that They found recently. It’d been there for a little while. (Don’t use that room too much, eh? Nope.) Actually, I don’t remember leaving it there. Guess I was sleep walking.

      ArrOOOO! Stuart

  4. Daisy says:

People are insane at times……and it IS JUST A GAME!

    We love Scottie games, too.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

  5. Hoke says:

Maybe you need to get out there and teach those guys the rules!! You can’t always win. If you need some more muscle Stuart…I got your back! RIght now I look like a wolf with all my hair so I’ll help you give em a scare! Take it easy and be safe!!!

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
