It’s Me. Under a Tree.

Yoo Hoo! It's me. Under the tree.

Yesterday was such a nice day (after the big ‘ole thunderstorms I told y’all about), that I decided to dig me a little nest under this tree and help Them in the backyard.

As ya’ll know, I’m a VERY good snoopervisor.

What You Learned Today:

  • I love yard work.
  • It’s work to dig a little nest to sleep in.
  • It’s also work to help Them weed, rake and mulch.
  • I’m not much good at that kind of work.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Stuart ~ On Friday you were telling me how you like Catty Bon Bons. Never tried those, my fav is Mr. Hippity Hop Bitsy Raisins. And they are all natural, no additives. Bet you might find some under your tree! Sweet William The Scot

  2. Stuart,

Guess what our Dad found in a hole in our yard yesterday – not baby Scotties, but baby bunnies!! No wonder we had been barking so much when they let us outside.

  3. Oooooo! I love bunnies! Easter’s on its way…

    Roodles, Stuart

Not only do we have the world’s market cornered on bunnies (at least 10 nests in my yard, all in places I can’t get to like in the middle of a cactus patch) but we have a lot of lizards also. I bit the tail off one once but it didn’t taste like chicken. I think they regrow the tail-imagine that.

  5. Daisy says:

That looks like a great place to snoopervise. You don’t want Them messing up your garden. Also, bet you can see little creatures from there.

Glad that noisy rain is gone….for the moment.

Stuart, It is wonderful to meet you!! You are quite the dashing fellow with those splashes of white! I have white on my chest… but it’s a little harder to see since I’m already blonde. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by my human’s blog! We both love your blog, and we’ll definitely be back to visit often.
    Slobbery kisses,
Darcy (with the help of her human)

Stuart…so good to see you out of the bathroom, that just worried me so much last night. and the sunshine was wonderful today. guess what I was sneaky today too. I hid in a shopping basket when mum went in to buy paint. we thought I was busted when I tried to jump on the paint counter but I got back into the cart quickly. why am I not considered a service dog…it is a great “service” to make people chuckle for no apparent reason.

    your sneaky pal, Georgie

Enjoying the cool grass on your bum, good times.
