Do You Have Allergies?

Huumm... wonder if I'm gonna start sneezing?

The other day I started this little “humph” noise. Kind of like a cross between a sneeze and a little cough. But it wasn’t really either of those things. I’ve been known to sneeze BIG TIME – like humans do. But this little noise wasn’t a big ‘ole sneeze. I heard my peeps worrying about it. But, it stopped and I ate my lunch. No biggie.

I’m wondering if I have allergies. There’s so much pollen and mold around where I live. And you know how close to the ground I am.

Do you think it could be allergies? Do you have allergies? Cough and sneeze?

What You Learned Today:

  • I know I reverse sneeze sometimes. That’s no big deal.
  • I also sneeze the regular way, too. That’s no big deal either.
  • I do rub my head on the rugs from time to time.
  • But my eyes aren’t red or anything like that.
  • My skin is OK, too.
  • Wonder what’s up?

  4. Piper MacT says:

I do the knoof sound too, as well as rub my face in the carpet (mostly after being fed, mom says that is my flavour saver mode). My other thing is rolling on my back and growling, which is something I seem to have inherited from my furmom, she does it as well when she has just been fed and feels good.

  5. I used to do this reverse sneeze-type thing, Stuart and it used to drive my mom mental until she discovered what it was. Check out this page:

    Hope it helps.

    Love ya lots

  6. I “heart” this picture, Dreamboat.

You do look extremely handsome today Stuart. You might ask the vet about allergies. Sometimes we get a benadryl of we’re itchy or sneezy…

    Rottie Kisses!

  8. Georgie B says:

we have no allergies, and thats good, cause the doors are always open and when we are at the store, the door is open all day. Scarlett makes ‘Racing” sounds during the night and Captain talks like a wookie from star wars, and I growl, trying to talk like captain. Now the cats are always sneezy…we think they are allergic to each other.
this is not a quiet house

you sure do take a good picture.

lottsa’ licks to you mum for mothers day

  9. Daisy says:

Kendra has always done that and Bella does it occasionally. It doesn’t seem to be seasonal or anything. We think it’s because they eat so fast they must get food up their noses or something.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

    • Georgie B says:

My Scarlett, the greyhound, does that when eating or getting excited..sounds scary, but doesn’t bother her.

  10. Fergus says:

I am allergic to grass, makes my feet awful itchy, especially in the spring time, I chew them like crazy.

When my peeps spray perfumes or air fresheners I sneeze and sneeze…. Don’t like them much.

  11. Hoke says:

I am only allergic to wheat…don’t think I’m allergic to anything else cause I roll around in the pollen and grass like it’s my job. Now my cousin the american bulldog is allergic to her own shadow…she get all red and itchy just from looking outside. I’m surprised they don’t make her where a bubble just to go outside and water the grass. I hope the pollen doesn’t get you down and I hope you are having some fun in the sun!!!

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
