Where In The World?

I just love opera, don’t you? My favorite is, well, I’ve got lots. All those Bugs Bunny operas. Remember those? They just don’t make cartoons like those anymore. I’ve even got an “Opera Made Easy” CD, a collection by Pavarotti where he’s compiled some of the most famous operas from some of the most unlikely sources. Like Bugs Bunny cartoons!

Here I am at the Odessa Opera House. Well, across the street from it.

Ah me….just to  hum a tune in this lovely city brings a tear to my eye.

What You Learned Today:

  • It’s Where In The World day here at The Scottie Chronicles.
  • Wonder where I’ll turn up next?

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

‘kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit…..’ now we’ve got that tune in our heads.

  2. Lee says:

Stuart you are sooo wordly and intellectual. Do you have the money for the Odessa ~ you know the Threepenny opera cost more than three pennies.
    Sweet William The Scot

  3. rottrover says:

I’m surprised you’re not appearing in Romeo and Juliet which just opened here in L.A.!!

  4. Kyla says:

I’ve been trying to think of an opera that has a character put his head back and belt out arooooooooooo. It must be some obscure work from the Ukraine. It’s OK to spoil the plot. Stuart, do you get the fat lady with the metal bra and the horns sticking out of her head at the end of the opera?

  5. Georgie B says:

Is Jersey Boys an opera??? that’s where mum goes all the time…good grief, it must be good, she has seen them in NC, KY, and Atlanta…and again in Atlanta next year…Personally, we like the singing frog, wasn’t that Bugs Bunny? “hello my baby” BOL that is a good one..

See you at the Theater someday…

    Georgie B..

  6. Our mom loves classical music but she never got into opera, Stuart! You are much more worldly than she is!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch
