I’m Baaack!

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Hey there Mr. Big 'Ole Wave, did you miss me?

Oh boy, oh boy! We’re here! The annual beach trip started like this.  We had lots of fun and We went to some new places and I met two new doggies. I’ll tell you all about it later.

Right now the mailman is here and I think he brought me a Santa Paws present from Edgar!!!! WOO HOOOO!

Sounds like everybody had a nice Christmas holiday – but remember, the howlidays are still here. There’s another one coming this weekend. Weeee! More celebrations!

Hey, thanks for the Howliday wishes everybody. It’s so nice when y’all pop by and bark at me!

What You Learned Today:

  • I’m back from my annual beach trip.
  • Boy did We have fun.
  • I’m going through all the pictures now. And telling Her which ones I want to show y’all.
  • I met Tucker, a Parson terrier and Chinabelle, (I hope that’s how you spell it) a miniature Australian shepherd. I’ll tell you all about them.
  • I have to go get my present that Edgar sent me! I’ll show you that, too.
  • If it weren’t for Edgar, I’d have no presents at all. Can you believe that???? My peeps kept saying something like the trip to the beach WAS my present. News to me. It didn’t have a bow on it or paper or a box or anything. I don’t think that qualifies as a present, do you?
  • Gotta go.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Stuart! Merry Christmas! My Mumster’s computer is broke, so once in a while my Granddaddy “Baba” lets US borrow his….so here I am a bit late wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

I am still pretty upset about poor Scottie “Chief” that died in Iowa from some mean person coming into his yard and kicking him…it is still so sad. There is a Facebook page dedicated to him and tells the story. Hate to hear one of “us” leave this great world like that…hope he is running and playing over the rainbow bridge. I feel sorry for his peeps…being Chief isn’t there for the holidays….

On a Happier Note…..Happy New Year Stuart!!! Thanks for making me laugh all year….

You are so lucky to run on the beach without a leash! Julep and Derby would keep running and running and running with no catching them – they can be bad westies at times!

Look forward to more beach photo’s … we love you Stuart!

I only got to go to the beach once in my life as I remember (before Them was a disaster and fortunately now-a distant bad memory) -18 months ago or so on the Northern coast of Oregon. Cold, cloudy and windy. It was like a big pool and I don’t do pools. I do like the seaweed He feeds me when He has it-which is a few times a month-He thinks it is healthy. I’d do beaches in the Caribbean- (why does that now make me think of green beans?) .

New Year’s is coming. It may be a few hours late in DownUnder time, but We’ll hoist a glass (at home, we don’t venture out on amateur night) to Kendra, my friend for certain had I met her.

  7. Jazzi says:

Glad that you are back Stuart. What did you get from Edgar?? we wanna see too. Ha!

  8. Your beach is so beautiful and you are so lucky, Stuart!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  9. Hoke says:

OH Stuart you look like you are having so much fun on the beach!!! How I would love to run on the beach but #1 I’m afraid of the water, #2 I would run away, #3 it would take her forever to get the sand out from between my toes!!!!

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
