Here’s Barking at You Kid

Whew. All this barking's made me tired. Time for a little nappy.

I’m all barked out. Been barking for a looooong time. And some of my blog furiends STILL haven’t heard me. See, I bark at them on the comment section of their posts and mine just won’t show up for some reason.

Let’s see, I can’t bark at Douglas or Downunder Daisy. Sometimes I can’t bark at Derby and Julep (but sometimes I can) and I can’t bark at Hoke, either. Who knows who else I can’t bark at – it’s getting so that I just don’t remember.

OH…and sometimes I can’t bark at my furiends at Rocky Creek Scotties. Or Duncan over at The White Dog Blog (but sometimes I can). I can’t bark at Angus and Molly or Wilf (haven’t barked at him in a loooong time so I thought I’d say Rooo to him the other day, but NOOOOO.) It’s just too much!

So, to all my blog furiends who haven’t heard from me, hey, it’s not my fault! Today I’m sending out BIG BARKS.

Did you hear them? Good. I’ve been wanting to say things to you.

What You Learned Today:

  • My barker’s gone nuts. I can leave comments on some blogs, but not others.
  • So don’t think I don’t like you anymore.
  • I’ll keep trying to bark at you. I’m a terrier after all. With tenacity of steel. So you KNOW I’ll figure it out. Somehow.
  • If anybody has any expertise with OpenID credentials, Blogger, Blogspot and others, bark at ME and let’s convo.

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. I totally understand. IT is weird too, cause I can comment on a few blogs, but not others. Sometimes I can comment on a blog then the next day if I wanna make another comment on that same blog, I can’t.

Don’t know what is going on.

  2. Kyla says:

Sometimes when I want to bark at you, I have to sign in again. Sometimes when I want to bark at Daisy or Douglas (who use a different blog hoster), I have to sign in again. I’ve never had problems posting except for sometimes getting the cryptic weird letters right on Daisy/Douglas’ hoster. Then again, I don’t use windows or mac so maybe it has somthing to do with your operating system.

You look all barked out Stuart, but still very handsome to look at.

  4. We have the same problem – we can rarely if ever bark at Miss Asta and we so love love reading her blog, especially now that she has moved to Budapest! When we try to leave a message on her blog, we just get a white empty box appear….sigh. And we have been having trouble with Bailey’s blog too….it seems places with a lot of advertising on the sides slow everything down.

  5. Daisy says:

    That’s a bummer.

We had to change to Google Chrome after the last blogger problem. so far, it’s been okay. But we understand your frustration.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  6. We had lots of problems when we were using IE but now that mom downloaded Firefox, the problems are gone.

    Love ya lots

Gosh that’s tough! You aren’t the first one I’ve heard of that has trouble barking at certain friends… who knows what the problems is?? All that crazy technology… I wish you the best of luck in finding your bark again and getting the word out to all your besties!

You can bark at me and Addy. We had those same problems and we moved to Firefox and it all works perfect!!

    Jazzi and Addy

  9. Angus and Molly says:

Hey Stuart….we’re barking at you. Love your Friday photo….although we don’t think you need touching up. You’re handsome without all the fuss 🙂

  10. Duncan says:

Thanks for the barks Stuart!!! My mom said to tell you that she solved her problem by NOT checking the “keep me logged in” box on the Google Sign In page. Made a world of difference in how many people hear me barking!!!

    • But Duncan, I don’t use the Google Sign In page. Grrrrrrrrr. And I use Firefox. And I’m on a Mac. And I’ve never had trouble before. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. At least I can bark at YOU. Sometimes. (Yaaaa! Send me your photos and I’ll make them FUN. YIPPEE!

      Arooo, Stuart
PS Oh. Sorry. I should have thanked you and your mom for giving me a suggestion. My apologies. Rude I am.

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
