A Still Life with BoBo

Here’s my attempt at composing a little still life tableau for you today. Like it?

My peep had a birthday recently and He gave Her some flowers. Of course, She put them right next to Her BoBo portrait. (She doesn’t need a portrait of moi, She can look at me as much as She wants every day. All day.)

Y’all remember BoBo, Their very first Scottie. He lived a long life….16 years of pizza eating, brisk walking and Scottie-tude projecting. (Y’all know what Scottie-tude is, right? You don’t? It’s Scottie attitude of course!)

Now, pay attention to that birthday card. That one. Right next to the flowers. It’s a funny one about dog farts gas.

What is it about dogs passing gas that people find so amusing?

What You Learned Today:

  • She had a birthday. I gave Her a card. And some kisses.
  • He gave Her flowers. And a card or two.
  • One of the cards was funny.
  • Why are dog farts poots tweets so funny?

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

We don’t know why dog toots are so funny Stuart. One of us does it all the time, but you’ll have to guess which one. Actually we’ll both deny it, so let’s not go there. 🙂
Happy Belated Birthday to your Mom peep.
    toot toot,

Happy, happy birthday to HER! Those flowers are oh-so-gawjuss but between you and me, I bet she liked your kisses better. (Just don’t tell Him I said that, okay?) I hope she had the very bestest day EVER!

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your Peep.

  9. Kyla says:

I’m confused (as usual). Do we really need the fanfare, ruffles and flourishes to announce a birthday? Well, it’s a holiday and the more firecrackers the better-I hope nobody lit a match or we’d knock the earth out of orbit around the sun. The SBD’s are the most deadly and always blamed on the dog. He blames Kenzie and She blames me-thanks a lot. Next time peeps, pass on the broccoli and bean casserole for din-din and stick to a nice canine dinner of squirrel and rabbit.

  10. Lee says:

Oh the pink roses and two lips are beautiful. Stuart did you give her a big two lip kissarooo?
    Sweet William The Scot

  11. Bert says:

Yep, my Vickie knows all about dog gas. lToday at the hospital we were going into visit a little girl and My Vickie leaned down to put the cleaner stuff on my feet and I let out a BIG ONE right in her face.

He He…..It’s always a good time to Pass the Gas.

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
