Lots and lots of trees, leaves and branches came down in the storm. (Kind of like hurricane Irene last year.)
Whoa. I thought I’d take a little bike ride ’round the hood yesterday to assess the damage from the quirky twister-tornado-hurricane that swept through the day before. Lots and lots of trees are down. Some hit houses. Some missed them by “this much.” We were lucky.
Anyway, I didn’t take any pictures to show you because I didn’t have my fanny pack with me. The one with my camera in it. Then I thought, “Hey, I need to introduce Seymour. He’s getting a tiny fanny pack of his very own one day.”
Seymour is a new addition at Thunder’s house. And Thunder belongs to very funny blogger. Witty. Wittier. Wittiest.
And that’s not all, when you visit Seymour and Thunder, you also get a recipe.
What could be better than that? Great pictures of Dogs. And Food. All in one place. The blog is called Eggton.
So go meet Seymour. And Thunder.
Here’s my fanny pack, by the way (it’s also a great treat bag for training – the clicker We used in my obedience class is still in a little pocket on the side – so much for that training.):
What You Learned Today:
- I don’t how We found Thunder’s peep’s blog, but We did.

Nice find Stuart old boy, my dad is a fish n chips addict, so he’ll be all over that recipe in the latest blog.
Arrooos to you
Piper MacT
PS. Looks like it’s building up to a pretty hefty thunderstorm here in the Rhine Valley, hope it’s over before we head down to the Gasthaus to watch the EM semi-final, Italy v Germany.
Yeah, that recipe looked tasty to my peep, too. Grab your Thundershirt and hoist a pint at the Gasthaus. Who are you rooting for? (Dare I ask?)
Aroooo, Stuart
DUH… I guess Germany, ‘eh?
,Bit schitzo there, Mom’s German, Dad’s a Canuck, and I am of course a Scot, so 2/3 have no dog in this fight, so to say… But we all love Italy, so we are torn.
Whew. Glad that wasn’t a dumb question after all.
ArooOooo RRRRRROOOOOOOOOO! Stuart
2-1 for Italy, mom is not a happy camper…
Yep when I am on the puter I just never know ~ I start out where I wanted and end up never knowing how or why I got there! Destiny for you to find Eggton.
Sweet William The Scot
That’s a very cool fanny pack, Stuart. We really like that!
Love ya lots,
Mitch and Molly
I asked Kenzie if I should get a fanny pack and he said that it was already overpacked.
Well, I never….
We call them bum bags (fanny pack being slightly rude here). SHE keeps treats in it. We’ll check out the new sites.

So they’re called bum-bags instead.
