It’s hard to believe I created The Scottie Chronicles three years ago this week. Yep. That’s right. Actually, it was August 7, 2009. I missed sharing this with you on Tuesday, so let’s just celebrate all week, shall we?
Let’s check out the stats since August 7, 2009:
- 947 posts
- 29 categories
- 1,173 tags
- 261 followers/subscribers
- 102,198 blog views
- 8,630 comments (I love it when y’all bark at me!)
- the busiest day for views was January 2, 2011 after I wrote on December 30, 2010 about the Humane Society saying that Michael Vick “would do a good job as a pet owner” – well, many of you shared that post through Facebook – more than 300 shares to be more precise – and that’s why it got so much traffic: 684 views!
What a segue…..wait for it….
Speaking of Facebook – IT’S TIME TO VOTE!!! Go here and put your faith in me as the next Thundershirt television talent in a new commercial! Go ahead! Share with your friends!
My friends, I haven’t yet broken triple digits in the voting. The lead dog will hit 900 sometime very soon and while I’m not ready to concede the race, we’ve got a loooong way to go. So remember, with your help every day until August 31, we have a chance to put MOI in the spotlight. Yes MOI. Your friend, fellow dog-blogger and rescue from the jaws of hell that my so-called breeders put me through, your pal, your source of helpful as well as useless but fun information…. STUART.
Thank you, thank you for your kindness, friendship and support. You are why I blog. It’s because of YOU that I exist in the universe of all things Scottie-li-cious. Now get out there and do some stumping!!! We Can Do This!
