Watercolor Wednesday

Do you know what time it is???  IT’S TIME FOR SOME STU-ART!

Yes, folks. It’s Wednesday. Time for some art. This is one of my favs. On the ferry from Surry to Jamestown. In the cradle of American history. Hope you enjoy.

And, hey — ding-ding-ding-ding – we have a winner. On Monday, I asked if you could guess my favorite painting from an exhibition coming up in Charleston, South Carolina – another area rich in American history – and, yes, you got it right.

My pick was: “Mayhem.” And, yes, Sweet William the Scot, I also like “Please.” (I’d also be up on that Thanksgiving table in “Early for Dinner” don’t you know! Chowing down on that turkey – after I dragged it outside, of course.)

Y’all know me too well. Or maybe you just like Scotties creating mayhem! We do that very well, by the way.

What You Learned Today:

  • Wednesday’s are Watercolor Days.
  • We love that.
  • We love it that you love it.
  • So, go spread some love today.
  • Or mayhem. That’s always fun.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Water I love to be around the water.
Talking about Thanksgiving and turkey ~ well when Lee had Half Pence his first Thanksgiving Lee took the turkey to a friends house that was having a bring a dish Thanksgiving with dogs invited. Well even though he was only eight months old he stood on his tippy toes to grab the turkey. Turkey was saved before it hit the floor and a slice was taken out where his teeth went in. His first and last try at stealing food from the table.
    Thanks for being a friend
