Waiting For Sandy

High and dry.

OK. Sandy. Stay away. I don’t want to have to show my furiends any hurricane pictures like I did last year.

So far. So good. Y’all take care now, ya hear?

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  6. SUSAN, SID, AND SHELBY WEINSTEIN says:

Stay safe Stuart. Mom has been through a few hurricanes, but we have not. Shelby is only 2 and I am five. The last major hurricane here in south Florida was Wilma. I was not even born, but my older Scottie sisters, Drew and Tiffany, told me all about it. Sadly, they are both over the rainbow bridge.

Pees: yes we don’t like the kiddies coming by either, all we do is bark our heads off at them, but going ourselves was fun and we got stuff, had to look stupid to get it, but oh well, no choice. You can see how stupid we looked Wednesday.

  14. Lee says:

Stay safe Stuart, a lot of bloggers are in the direct line and I am keeping them in my prayers.
    Thanks for being a friend

  15. Alyssa says:

Be safe Stuart! Hope you have your Thundershirt on with all that wind. I heard from my mom in NJ that it is very, very windy. Hang in there and make sure your peeps are ok.

  16. Sandy Bruning says:

Hey Stuart – Guess our Mom “Sandy” has not done too much damage – so far – to us here in Richmond – but up north our friends are really getting the ‘works’ – Be safe, take care and we think of you often.. Tobias, Shadow, Lady & Cherry…

  17. Hope you all are fine and have weatherd the storm OK. Thinking of you often, too, all of us at the Modern Scottie Dog. (MSD Duffy hurt his rt front leg, I think, from slipping off the back seat of the car. Hopefully just a muscle thing not sure until an x-ray if it gets worse to see if it’s a hairline fracture – poor thing is hopping on three legs! So I immediately went out and bought a harness + seat belt clip pet product to secure him to the seat when the seat belt is drawn in to the tightest setting, locks and he is secure. Wow, a really bad way to learn the necessity of securing your baby on the backseat). 😦

  18. So worried about everyone. I do hope Sandy stays clear of you but at least you look like you’re ready for her if she comes. Please stay safe.

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
