Westminster Wanne Be?

HandsomeManIf this isn’t the look of a Westminster dog, I don’t know what is.

But, you know what? I’m not really into that. Are you? Don’t get me wrong. I love me some good looking show dogs, but it’s not really me.

Me? I like to be disobedient sometimes, to roll in stinky stuff and get all messy, and make my peeps mad and ignore them. You know, that kind of thing.

Guess I’m just not show material.

But don’t forget – the show’s tonight and tomorrow night. Me and the peeps are gonna pop some corn and swig some brewskis and give it a watch. Burp.

What You Learned Today:

  • The Westminster Dog Show is tonight and tomorrow night.
  • 8 PM to 11 PM EST US. CNBC and USA Network, respectively.
  • I think the Scotties are tomorrow.
  • I’ll be glued.
  • Will you?
  • SATURDAY’S WHERE IN THE WORLD: I think it was the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art. Simply because I THINK the shopping bag gave it away. But, I’m not sure. Thanks for guessing!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

We’ll be watching (on tape). Kaci goes bonkers when we look at a dog show. You and I are ineligible, we’ve had the big snip.

Even if that were a Met shopping bag, that doesn’t prove where you saw it, they’re portable. The guy probably carries it for the snob appeal.

I wouldn’t miss it for anything! Years ago I had Basset Hounds and had the pleasure of showing one at Westminster! It was a wonderful experience. For many years I was without a dog and when Barney Bush took up residence in The White House, I became smitten with Scotties. I had the extreme good fortune of adopting a wonderful rescue Scottie and life with Gus was rewarding and fabulous! Sadly, without warning he became very ill and after being told there was nothing that could be done for him, I helped him cross the Rainbow Bridge as I held him in my arms. My heart aches for him still but, God willing, I will have another rescue Scottie some day.

I enjoy keeping up with you Stuart – you are beautiful inside and out and having the peeps that you do, you are one lucky dog! But you know that already.

  3. Bert says:

HOpe you enjoy the show and the treats while you watch.

  4. Daisy says:

We don’t think we’d be allowed to even stand across the street. We’re not show material either.

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  5. Alyssa says:

We are not watching. The human child has taken over the tv. I personally, think you are winner of the best kind! I’d vote for you ALL the way Stuart!!

We always get a kick out of watching dog shows and talking trash! It’s just like any other sporting event we tune into, except this time calling the participants dogs isn’t an insult.

  7. georgie & fergie says:

Go to this link at 10:00 am or 10:30 am today live judging of 12 Scotties !!!!

Stuart you should definitely be there! My peeps want to get tickets to next years. Of course, they always say that. Who knows, one day maybe one of my babies will be there.

My main peep’s computer died completely. She had to get new one. She was so upset she didn’t let me watch last night, but she’s feeling better now that she got her email and internet working. She really missed you the last couple of days, Stu!

    Enjoy the show ArrrrooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  11. We prefer the watching part………and seeing if any of ‘proper’ show dogs do some crazies – that is the best part – when they get all excited and jump around.

  12. I think that my furiends are handsomer than any show dogs!

  13. Lee says:

I love looking on line and watching! I got my fav and I am cheering for her. I see the Scotty group was up at 10:30 this morning.
    Thanks for being a friend
    Sweet William The Scot

  14. We’d give you “the ticket” as they say. You’re one cool dude.
