Do You Wipe Your Own Feet?

I'm gettin' tired of this white stuff.

I’m gettin’ tired of this white stuff.

OK. One day it’s cold, one day it’s warm and some days it’s like January. In March! I say, if it’s going to be wintertime, then BE wintertime. Stop teasing me!

What You Learned Today:

  • It’s the middle of March and it’s cold and dreary today. Yesterday, too.
  • I get kind of tired of having to have my feet wiped all the time.
  • Do you have your feet wiped at the front door?
  • Or do you wipe your own feet?

TODAY’S BINGO CALL OUT!!!! Here goes:  I – sunshine

Don’t forget to visit Ranger to see his Bingo call out today!

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

I do not wipe my own feet, I have them wiped for me! And my belly has to be wiped as well when it is wet, because of my short legs! Do you have the same problem, Stuart? Well, problem: we have our servants, haven’t we!

  2. Wipe our own feet – who has have heard of such a thing – that is what the peeps are there for – why we trained them!

  3. I’m pretty good and running off when the towel comes out BOL

  4. christina says:

Oh, I try to wipe their feet but they are so fast!! Can I teach them to wip their own feet??!! That would be great!!!

  5. Anonymous says:

“They” wipe my feet and I stand perfectly still for them; offering each paw at a time. NOW, my silly brother Banks, hates to have his feet touched so he dances around like a fool. He is such a youngster and has no clue!

    Barking at you……Toby and Banks.

  6. Lee says:

In the front door!! Wait one moment you get in the front door. Lee gets in our front door and she told me the back door is my door. I try and help to wipe my own back feet, but Lee wipes the front paws.

  7. Nikitaland says:

Me, wipe my feet? Nope. If I did not have such a good Mommy, our feet would always be dirty, muddy, and wet, but thanks to our Mommy, she lovingly wipes our feet! We must have the same weather you are having, and for March, it is as cold as January temps for us. I just want to be able to head outside without a coat. Just today, I bought a new pair of pink & black flip flops just to see if it will make the warmer weather arrive!

  8. Simba says:

No, I don’t wipe my own feet…mommy does that for me. Yes, I am tired of this bi-polar weather! I can’t wait for Spring to get here and STAY!

  9. Frankie Furter and Ernie says:

Feets wiping is what MOMs are fur.
HEY… since you picked SUNSHINE fur the bingo card today…. MAYBE it will decide to start SHINING WARM STUFFS on us… FINALLY!!!

What is that white stuff that you keep talking about? We have never seen snow and if it gets you wet, we don’t want to see it. Love Shelby and Sid

  15. Piper MacT says:

I jump up on my crate, and the peeps give me a treat, then check my feet, and the rest of me for any cuts, burrs, ticks etc. Then they dry me off if it was wet outside. Sometimes I get a shower if it was really muddy.

  16. Wipe our own feet…what is this you speak of?? Isn’t that what our peeps are for?? 😉

  17. Dougall says:

    No foot wiping here…

  18. Yap! We wipe out feet on their bed covers, if we’re quick about it, otherwise we get caught and receive a rub down – how undignified – hence the bed cover bit!

Go ahead...Bark Out Loud! ArroOOOO!
