Watercolor Wednesday – My Tootsies

tootsiesIt’s Wednesday!!! Time for some StuART!

Now, y’all might remember a photograph like this. The one y’all like of my little frog dog tootsies, but you’ve never seen it as a piece of StuART. Voila!

Hey…I’ve been so busy, I’ve missed blogging for a couple of days. Can you believe that? Heck, I didn’t even go anywhere on “Where in the World” Saturday. For goodness’ sake! I’ve had my mind on things like my tote and collar giveaway and stocking my soon-to-open e-store with stuff, making stuff – you know how it is. AND, it’s back to school time (whatever that means – why would I care about that? – there’s absolutely nothing I can learn because I know it all).

What You Learned Today:

  • Here’s a new piece of StuART I’ve created just for you today.
  • Hope you like it.
  • If you haven’t put your comment “in the hat” for my summer giveaway, you have until tomorrow. I guess I should make that “through tomorrow” specifically midnight EST USA time.
  • Yeah, that’ll do it.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Stuart we have talked about how our feet smell like Fritos. I read this corn chips smell is usually caused by some bacteria that are completely natural yet give off a kind of yeasty odor, particularly the bacteria Proteus or Pseudomonas. Many pet owners say they actually ENJOY this smell, so you can relax. Oh you are relaxing!

Another delightful StuART today. Your peep does such fun things, doesn’t she!!
And we agree on how much our peeps ‘love’ our feet. She is always giving them a little love squeeze as she passes us when we are snoozin’. One of my (Mac) ‘names’ is the ‘muffin man’ cause that is the size my paws are.
Enough of that…I must go back to the cooling floor vent for a ‘short’ nap. Lucy is on guard duty for me..

  9. Gizmo says:

Love your cute toes Stuart…always wanted to ask…is your white saddle unique in Scotties or relatively common? I think yours is the only one I’ve seen

    • Hey Gizmo!
While some of us do have blazes and dribbles of colors in our markings, mine is so unique that it’s outside the breed standards. Hence, the reason for my ordeal early in life when the humans who raised my mother and me and my siblings saw me and shrieked with disappointment. Oh dear. Yours is a good question. One that I’ll blog about at a later date.

      ArOOOOOO! Stuart

  10. We just love this watercolor, Stuart! It’s brilliant!
