Y’all know that this mug of mine has been seen around the world. (For those of you unfamiliar with American-isms, a “mug” is not only a beverage vessel, it’s also a term used for “face.” There. You’ve learned something new today. I do try to be helpful whenever I can.)
So, my mug has been seen in lots of places. Just yesterday folks over in my ancestral home at Scotty Brand linked me to their Facebook page.
So, I thought I’d return the favor here at The Scottie Chronicles.
Oh boy! Doesn’t it look like this Scottie is sitting in a field of carrots? Wooooot! I love carrots!! What I wouldn’t do to snoop around in a field of carrots! Imagine the dirt I could dig up! Terrier = moi. Yaaaah!
Seems like the folks at Scotty Brand have fields of lots of things. Potatoes, lettuce, raspberries, strawberries…alas, no green beans. Heavy sigh.
They even have recipes for carrot burgers on their beautiful website.
The peep’s gonna be all over that one. (But they sell real burgers, too, so don’t worry.)
Thank you, Scotty Brand, for posting my mug on your Facebook page. (Thank you even more for asking permission and letting me know about it. Sweet.)
So, to all my furiends in Scotland, hop on over to your nearest Tesco or Whole Foods or the other places where you can see what Scotty’s up to.
OK…about that Scottie on a skateboard. Click on this link to the Scotty Brand Facebook page, scroll down….and voila…a Scottie on a skateboard! How’d he do that?
