About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a dog blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. He would have been 11 years old in March 2017. The Scottie Chronicles is dedicated to Stuart and the joy he shared with everyone who met him or saw him from afar. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

  1. I could come to help you, but please make shure that we haven’t to take a bath when we finished our mulch-work :O)

Is it just me, or does every Scottie have the cutest, little, round tuchus ever!!

That ‘shot’ gave the ‘mom’ a chuckle!!!! Gotta love him !!!
We also live in a ‘garden district’ here in Alabama. This last week end was to be the tour. Alas, for the first time for as long as we can remember it was cancelled because of weather. There are (were) huge azalea bushes in beautiful bloom on Friday ~~~~ by Saturday the rain and wind had pretty well ruined the blooms along with the dogwood foliage. =(
May your garden tour be lovely !!!! Keep workin’ Stewart, we know the peeps are depending on you !!!

  4. PigLove says:

I’ll come over and help but I’m not sure how much ‘work’ we will get done – snorts. XOXO – Bacon

  5. Duffy, Andrew & Elsa says:

You r lucky the peeps have mulch. We can’t have it anymore cuz we looove to eat it right up! N last year one of us (won’t say who) got one of the mulchy stick thingies stuck in our throat. Now the peeps use pine needles, which I must say, are not as tasty.

  6. susieandsidebite says:

Thats a lot to deal with,……… ahhhhhh, did you deposit any there?

  7. Kyla says:

I’m going faster than tawdling for green beans.

  8. corkscot says:

That does not look like Florida mulch. Sid gets it all stuck to his furnishings. Shelby must have some kind of repellant in her coat. Have fun!

  9. Daisy says:

Do you need a hole digger? Sign me up! I’m not so good at spreading mulch yet. Maybe next year!
