Your Opinion Please

The peep got me a snazzy new car seat bucket thing the other day.

new bucket chiroHere I am on a trip to the chiropractor dogtor. Seems all the garden weeding activity at Our house took a toll on Her back. Poor thing. She tries…..

new bucket do I fitShe thinks I’m missing out by not being able to see out of the window when We scoot around town. So, as you can see, I can see clearly now.

new bucket sleepingAnd, of course, I love to prop my head on something when I’m snoozing.

new bucket almost homeAnd I LOVE it when We turn the corner on the way to Our house. Woot!

But I need your opinion. Is this thing the right size for me? Do I need a bigger one, or as Goldilocks said, is this one just right?

You look comfortable. How sweet of your peep to love you so much she wants you to see out. Be sure to bark her a Happy Mother’s Day…..

  2. Kyla says:

I have one and it is bigger. When in the ScottieMobile, it takes up most of the room but that’s the way my throne should be.

  3. It looks perfect to me, but I’m not an expert and always banned on the back seat… how mean! I hope your mom feels better soon.

  4. Anonymous says:

Can you still get some ‘nose-art’ done on the windows ???That is quite important ~~ We really like your ‘car seat’ thingie. Hope your peeps back feels better soon.. really soon !!
Happy ‘scooting’ about town Stuart …

It looks quite comfy and cozy to me. My peep is thinking about getting me one, so let us know how it works out! Hope your peep is feeling better….

    AROOOO,
    Gwyn

  6. Duffy, Elsa & Andrew says:

Sore backs are not fun, hope your Mum is better. Chiro’s are the best! We like your seat thingy. Our peeps put us in the back seat and strap us in with some sort of sheepskin halter. It affixes to the seat belt. We still get to move around a bit. Our Mum wants to know if your box seat keeps you from scratchin’ up the door panel when you look out the window? If it does, maybe she’ll get us one. You do look quite regal in your suite.

  7. Not sure if it is too small….but how about safety – is there something to stop you flying out of it if your peeps had to slam on the brakes?

  8. Tobias,Cherry, Shadow says:

Looks like a good thing to us – we might even try one – but can you lie down in it – didn’t look like there was quite enough room? Probably is – we would have to have 3 – probably better in the crate(s) for traveling for us – but for a “pawty” of one – Carry on!! — Tobias, Cherry & Shadow

  9. I don’t know, I got one for Abbe and Anne and was just going to ask you how you felt about it before I put it in the car lol! Sidebar question, what do you go to the chiropractor for?

  10. iloveschnauzers says:

Looks comfie! Miss D says if you can stand up and turn around in it, then it fits just fine! Miss D is also jealous. I don’t feel steady enough on my feet to try looking out the car window. But mommy rolls down the windows soI can feel the wind in my ‘stache even when lying down 🙂

  11. Please tell your Mommy that my Mommy says that usually those doggie perches come with the recommended weight you should be to safely and comfortably fit in the carrier, er perch thingy! Didn’t the one she got you say up to how many lbs. it would hold? Now, we know you are very svelt, and from the pictures it looks like you “fit” just fine, but the maker of the seat usually shows the recommended weight the occupant of said perch should be! Did you chew up the instructions or packaging it came in before your Mommy got to read it? That’s what I usually do..(heh-heh).
    I can’t help it!
    You are one lucky Scottie!
    Love,
    Riley Puppy

  12. susieandsidebite says:

Oh Doggies, I love that, gotta go get Dad to get one for his truck, kinda hard to see out the window!

    Susie
Pees: if he does, I might let Bites use it.

  13. Whitley says:

It looks fine to me, but I dunno becuz I just ride in a person’s lap (who are not drivin) or harnessed to da seatbelt.

  14. Daisy says:

It looks like a pawfect fit to me! I think those pup seats are supposed to be just right. It looks pretty comfy!

  15. fozziemum says:

Stuart that;s one snazzy seat…I can’t imagine Forrest in one at nearly 78 pounds bwahahhah he would look like the biggest bucket ‘o’ pup ever!! as long as you can’t go flying though 🙂 hugs Fozziemum xx

  16. PigLove says:

aaww Stuart – I think you look great! I don’t have such a great seat to sit in. Mommy gives me the storage area of her Smart car. It’s just big enough for me to waddle and look out the window. XOXO – Bacon

  17. gentlestitches says:

I think a seat belt is an excellent idea Stuart and tell your Mom to feel better soon.:-)

  18. Scout's Mom says:

I think it’s perfect. If it were too large I think it would defeat the purpose of having it – to keep your little self contained Stuart! Plus you look so studly in that seat! Aroooooooooo
    Happy cruising! – Scout

  19. Bonnie n Kenzie says:

Is there something holding you in? The Mr. used to let Bonnie ride on the armrest in the middle of the front seat until he had to stop suddenly once and her snooter smushed into the AC vents. SHE who must be obeyed purchased seat belt straps and we ride in the back seat belted down in a harness. We don’t like it. If we are on a long trip we ride in individual crates. We’re not crazy about those either but we like it better than doggy camp. If that bumper seat has a safety belt, she says it looks like a good way to keep dirty paws off the seat and our furs contained in one spot.
Have fun tooling about in your new seat.
    Bonnie n Kenzie
