Happy Turkey Day, Eh?

thsgvgI’ve been doing a little celebrating with my friends north of the border. See, it’s Thanksgiving in Canada.

Think I ate too many green beans.

Happy Thanksgiving to my pals up north!

By the way, this is my 1,609th post on the ‘ole blog. Can you believe that? 1609 marks the same year that Bermuda became a British Colony (discovered whilst the crew was on their way to the New World). And just two years after the Englishman, John Smith, landed on the James River in what is now the state of Virginia – just a stone’s throw away from the site of the first U.S. Thanksgiving at Berkeley Plantation in 1619 – and very near where I live!

What this has to do with Canada I have no idea, but I thought you ought to know.

I’m a man of many facts.

ArrrOOO ROOOOOO!

About The Scottie Chronicles

The Scottie Chronicles began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. He passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty canine cancer that took him far too early. He would have been 10 years old in March 2016. The Scottie Chronicles is dedicated to Stuart and the joy he shared with everyone who met him or saw him from afar. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

aaww pal – I resemble that look sometimes after eating. Really, I do. My miniature pot belly seems to say MORE, MORE, and MORE while my head tells me I should stop. We all know which one wins. Sigh – move over on that porch and make room for your buddy heh? Snorts. XOXO – Bacon
