I come to you today with a heavy heart. Just when the New Year seemed to be off to a good start, Paris happened. This isn’t the first time my Scottie heart has been heavy because of man’s inhumanity to man.
This is why dogs should rule the world.
We wouldn’t have books that tell you what to do, what not to do and how to do it. Because we instinctively know what we need to live and how to live happily and well.
It’s simple:
- We all need a safe, clean place to live.
- We all need food in our bellies.
- We all need to be loved and to show love in return.
- We all need a pack of pals to play with.
That’s all there is to it.
And this applies to everyone everywhere.
In my world, there is no Paris 1/7/15, there is no Ferguson and there is no need for “I Can’t Breathe” t-shirts or rallies. It’s a place where little girls go to school to learn, and children just want to have fun.
My friends, this world isn’t a dog-eat-dog world, it’s a man-versus-man world. And it isn’t nice.
We dogs can take care of ourselves. For the most part. Unless we live in Korea. Or near Michael Vick.

Agree, agree, agree! When the Peeps were across the pond a while ago they met a Scottie named Emile who came from Paris, but was in Germany at the time. All this bad stuff this week made HER say that she hoped Emile was safe. Humans need to just chill and let things be as people want. No more violence, please.

Oh Stu I agree..we have just gone through this in Australia..and wonder why humans are so destructive…we could all do with a little reminder that the earth is only ours to lend for awhile..none of us better or worse none more entitled than another regardless of species.Sadly humans are not as in tune with what’s right as animals..sadly we do for sport or fun what animals do to survive..indeed a world run by dogs would be more about butt sniffing, leg cocking and tail wagging…a world I would gladly live in…take heart sweet Stu…not all peeps are this way and there are many many wonderful humans..those that rescue and help animals..those that help each other out and those that give us beauty in the forms of art and music ..so chin up little guy..we are family here and that makes us pretty good too.
