Ready for Winter. And Westminster.

Here I am getting ready for my closeup tonight at Westminster.old manJust kidding. As if you didn’t know.

Here’s what I’m really doing today:

So, it snowed all night last night and it’s going to snow again tomorrow night and by Thursday, the arctic blast will be upon us. A million degrees below zero.

The peeps kindly shoveled a little walkway for me to do my business. The little walkway connects two sets of steps in the back where I like to wander. It even goes around the house in case I get adventurous and want to traipse outside for a while and come back in with snow clods stuck to my feet.

It’s times like this when I wish I used kitty litter.

About The Scottie Chronicles

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a dog blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. He would have been 11 years old in March 2017. The Scottie Chronicles is dedicated to Stuart and the joy he shared with everyone who met him or saw him from afar. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

About Westminster. TV wouldn’t allow you to enter. All the other dogs would go home because they knew they couldn’t win.

  3. Tobias, Cherry & Shadow says:

We recognize your shot of ‘getting ready for Westminster’ – we get ready there too!! Video is adorable – we have made paths around the birdfeeder (had to see if we could catch the birds) and we have had lots of snow ‘clods’ on our feet off and on all day. We only stay out a little at a time – are you braver than that?? — Best – Tobias, Shadow & Cherry

Your yard looks beautiful in all the snow! I don’t mind going out in it, but when I get a big snow clod stuck in my paw I just stand there with my paw up and I look like a statue. My Peep has to clean it out for me and warm my paw with her gloves. She even carries me home sometimes. We are all so fortunate to have Peeps who take such good care of us.

Yep I watched the live feed today of the sixteen Scotties in the ring at Westminster. They picked the five favs that Lee picked but we would have reversed three and four. We got the same weather you got.
    Thanks for being a friend
