I warn you. This isn’t pretty. But I can’t sit by and not say anything about this.
But here’s another example of human beings being cruel (not cruel to me thank doG). Being stupid and downright psychopathic. And that, my friends, makes me mad. Especially when it’s cruelty to my anipals.
Warning: you need to click on the links to learn more, but don’t say I didn’t warn you. Yikes.
What was this woman vet thinking? It reminds me of another stellar example of the humankind.
What’s going on here? Two women expressing joy in showing bowhunting photographs of themselves with dead animals? One of their victims was a FAMILY PET!!!! Really?
I’ve got nothing against hunting. If you’ve gotta do it, that is. Not hunting for sport, though. There’s no point in that is there? No. There. Is. Not. For gosh sake, do some target practice if that’s the way you get your jollies.
But don’t put an arrow through a family’s missing pet cat, take a photograph of yourself afterward and post it on social media where you pat yourself on the back and call yourself awesome. That’s what happened in Texas. And the woman – wait for it – IS A VETERINARIAN. Let’s hope she’s not a vet anymore. She claims the cat was feral. So what? As if that somehow justified her horrific action. (There’s an online movement to get her vet license revoked – google #JusticeForTiger to learn more. That poor cat. That poor family.)
And the other woman claims she was doing the old bull giraffe a favor by killing it and providing food to the locals. SERIOUSLY???
Even so, why pose next to the dead animal SMILING????
No matter what you think of the comedian(?) Ricky Gervais who tweeted about it ever so eloquently, he had a point when he asked:
“What must’ve happened to you in your life to make you want to kill a beautiful animal and then lie next to it smiling?”
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
WHAT’S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?????
These women are cuckoo for cocoa puffs. And I think they’re on the path to becoming serial killers. Don’t you?
Sorry. But, again, I had to rant.
Whew. On that note, here’s a happy photo. I’m tired of being mad.
Bonnie in her shades. That makes me smile. Really. It does. Thank you, Bonnie, for making me smile today. We all needed that.
