About The Scottie Chronicles

The Scottie Chronicles began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. He passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty canine cancer that took him far too early. He would have been 10 years old in March 2016. The Scottie Chronicles is dedicated to Stuart and the joy he shared with everyone who met him or saw him from afar. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

Your feet are saying “ribbet” in sign language.

Short little leggies with big paws…great for powerful digging in enclosed spaces, SHE likes the front view too, when we stretch out straight….extra long snooter sticking way past our short little leggies. We don’t usually stretch out straight in the front though, we prefer to cock our head sideways for comfort. Or make something into a pillow. But sometimes when it’s hot, and it’s hot a lot in Florida, we go all frog dog on the cool tile. Belly up with a backward frog dog under the ceiling fan is good too! Then, there is the pitiful frog dog….stretched out on the kitchen rug, front paws on each side of the foody bowl, snooter in the bowl, sound asleep…waiting for miracles to happen.
