Since I completely forgot that yesterday was Watercolor Wednesday and because I’ve been away for too long and forgot to post on Tuesday, today you’ll get a double dose of Scottie Chronicles goodness.

Just this morning my peeps told me about a little boy near our neighborhood who’s been asking folks to give him old, broken bicycles. Why? Because he likes to fix them and….WAIT FOR IT….
GIVE THEM AWAY TO CHILDREN WHO NEED THEM.
Now, I know this news is of the 2-legged variety, but I had to share it with you anyway. Because it made me smile. Doesn’t that just make you weep with wonder? Wonder at the fact that there are still good things that happen in this bad ‘ole world? Wait….it’s not a bad ‘ole world. We can’t let bad apples spoil the whole tree now can we? Shame on me.

that’s a pawsome boy if you ask me… it’s nice to fix the old bikes and to give them to kids who can’t buy a new bike. It’s great that this boy found a way to make this world a little bit warmer… I bet he will be a fabulous adult biped once, right?
I’m thinking he should run for POTUS.
Good news is always welcome. What do you send your pictures to for watercolor?
I send them to the peep. A very creative family I chose to be a part of, yes?
Mom says people are inherently good, but that makes for poor news copy. Keep up the great pawsative news. We love it. Elsa is crushing on yo u r picture (again). The tablet screen now has drool on it. For such a stoic German, she gets all dopey around you.
Dopey? I’d prefer to call it SMART. One smart cookie that Elsa!

We loooove hearing ‘good news’…thanks ! And what a wonderful kid ! Remember how we all loved riding our bikes…such a great feeling of freedom . And the wind in our freckled faces.. hey, perhaps that is the same feeling pups get riding w/ their heads out of the car windows. hmmm…

We have someone is Palm Beach that collects old bikes and gives hundreds of them away to needy kids,. He has been doing it for years.
