Who needs the Flying Squirrels when you’ve got Flying Furs?
This is what happens when it’s 90+ degrees F. outside and the humidity is so high you need to wear diapers just to stay dry.
Here’s to air conditioning vents in the floor! Woooot!
Actually, We need the Flying Squirrels. It looks like the team may be moving from my neighborhood to the county. The suburbs. I hate to see them go. Too bad the mayor is so, well, my peeps raised me better than to say bad things about anybody, so I won’t. But, he’s about a sandwich short of a picnic when it comes to making good decisions.
OH…and I have no idea where I was on Saturday. But thanks for playing along.
Talk is n the air Stuart…Mark my words! Your pal, Skyler B
HA!
Stay on the vent Stuart !!!!
pant pant…your Florida friends…L&M
I’ll try to stay cool for you guys.
OMD – I (Duffy) got my beard caught in the grate of the floor vent yesterday afternoon while I was “doing the Stuart” – laying on it. Mom had to cut part of my furs – but not too much – to get me loose. So…….be careful out there. WOOOOT!!
NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Oh my DAWGNESS!!!! That’s AWFUL!!!!!
Stu, what a smart Scot you are! That video of you getting cool is just, well the COOLEST! Great Idea! Here in CA the house builders aren’t very smart–no grates on da floor, so Sis and I sit froggy legs out on da tile or in front of da fan even with the air conditioning on–gotta penetrate that coat to get cool! You has got da furpect solution, tho’! Great Idea!
Your hot fur furiends trying whatever it takes to stay cool,
Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl
I love me some froggy legs. Works just fine!
You’re lucky the A.C. grates are on the floor, Stu, and you can just lay down on it for that cool breeze! When they are up on the ceiling you would need a tall ladder to climb up to reach it, and that would be very dangerous!
McDuff & Mom
Yikes! You’re right!
I wish we had floor A/C vents.
I wish you did, too. They’re terrierific.
We have what mommy calls central air…. the vents are in the ceiling! So we find the best spots in the hall, or near the couch room, where the air falls downward. Or sometimes we frog on the tile floor in the food room or the room where mommy and daddy go potty. We much rather stay in the central air when it gets very hot out. We have been lucky – mommy says a week of 80 degree weather and no humiditty…
OH…I love the potty room, too! Cool floors.
Oh cant blame you for using that spot. You’re a genius Stuart!!
Wags
Oreo
I do try.
Just like some others here, you’d have to hang from the ceiling by your dew claws to catch the AC. You couldn’t let go because the ceiling fan blades would make pupmeat out of you. Better to visit us from the middle of October to the middle of May to be sure.
A visit? That would be sweet. And I’d hang from the ceiling. Just for fun. (No pupmeat, though)
Oh like Marylin once… but she hadn’t such a fabulous flying beard like you :o)
ROFL.
“like the team may be moving from my neighborhood to the county” besides Auntie Carol whose team ~ your peeps??
Thanks for being a friend
Sweet William The Scot
OH…the Flying Squirrels. A baseball team that does fireworks near my house. Don’t worry! My peeps wouldn’t desert me!
Those magical vents on the floor are just that my friend – magical. I love them. I have one in my bedroom that I claim is mine and it should be that way, right? It is my bedroom – snorts. XOXO – Bacon
Of course it’s yours!
You are lucky to have a/c vents on the floor. Ours are in the ceiling. However I know exactly where to relax so that the wind from the vents blows down directly onto me. No sharing of vents in this house!
I knew you were smart, but you’re genius!
We have our vents on the ceiling. Your lucky to have them on the floor.
I am lucky in so many ways. Sigh.
My Rocky used to lay on air vents like that… He continued doing it even after the grate got stuck on the tags hanging from his collar – not once, but twice! It scared us both!! (I, of course, was able to laugh hysterically about it later.) So, enjoy the cool air, but be careful!
Hee Hee. Cute and smart Stuart. 😀
