Thank You Novartis

So, yesterday, the package arrived from Drs Foster and Smith pharmacy. Thank doGness. The peep was a bit worried, so She sang to me while I took my pill:

Sing with me now, to the tune of Mr. Sandman:

“Mr Stuey…please take your pill” BOM BOM BOM BOM “Make me the happiest … peep in the world.” BOM BOM BOM BOM

No sooner than She got to the last part of this little ditty, when it was All. Gone. Ta Da!

It's that time of the month again. Yippeeee!

It’s that time of the month again. Yippeeee! I don’t mind anymore!

And all it took was a little bit of Lean Treat. Well, two little bits to be exact. And when it was over We celebrated with a handful of Charlee Bears. Ahhhhhhh…..I LOVE IT WHEN THINGS HAPPEN LIKE THIS.

The peep does too. So She sang a new refrain:

“Mr Stuey… you are my dream!”

We just hope We got enough food in at the same time because We didn’t realize until later that Sentinel Flavor Tab must be taken with food to make sure that the stuff is fully absorbed.

Sentinel Flavor Tabs from Novartis. It only takes a minute. (I think that’s a good tagline. Maybe I should be a copywriter.)

  1. I like that your mom created a pill-song just for you! That’s pawsome… but I hope my mom will not start to sing to me… she has a voice like a rusty chainsaw :o)

  2. Momma sings songs to me too. It’s just like Mary Poppins — a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down!

Stu… Novartis is delicious… we’ve been taking it always & eat it right out of mommy’s hand. But the song is a great idea – will have to get her to try it next time!

Good on ya Stuart …and your ♪singing peep ! We Scotties are sooo wise(we think) when it comes to the dreaded meds~~~ we watch in awe as our peeps go through various charades trying to ‘trick’ us. It appears singing is the trick !! We’ll let you know if our peep sings to us at pill time.

Your Peep is so talented! Mom asks Elsa to say “please” before she eats them out of her hand. She thinks she is getting a treat, when in fact it’s melatonin, HBP pill, prednisone and some other one for her kidney. Elsa gobbles them up out of HER hand. Mom then gives her a real treat. I gues as long as Elsa falls for it – that’s her problem. We are glad you are getting the protection you need, though. No one wants any of those nasty problems. WOOT!

  11. My momma just crams em down me.

  12. theguster says:

That is the best news, Stuart! There must be magic in that song and that pill! Who else but a Peep would try that! She’s a keeper, I’d say, and so are you!

We’re so happy for you, Stuart! There must be magic in that song and in that pill. Who else but a Peep would think to do that? We think she’s a keeper, and so are you.

(This is my 2nd attempt to post this – am I the only one having a problem lately?)

  14. Marty the Manx says:

  15. A song?????!! OMD, I bets your Moms has the bestest voice!! If my Ma sang to me, I thinks my ears would bleed and I would start howlin’ like a Bloodhound!!
Glads your flea stuffs are easy to take, and you gets treaties afterwards! Score!
I have to have the topical because the pills make me puke all overs…
    Kisses,
    Ruby ♥

  16. Novartis has a division in Greensboro, Stuart, but there are no free samples. Mama gets my Sentinel at Costco. We are glad Norvartis is making Sentinel again. Mama was frustrated when she had to pick what she considered a lesser product. I eat it out of her hand, and get a treat afterwards. Gotta add in the chorus….Mama has a wretched singing voice too! Now we have an earworm!

  17. Laura Marec says:
