Watercolor Wednesday – A Grateful Face

Stuart-watercolor

Yes. It’s me. Back from the doGtor. I really can’t do too much today. Not a lot of blogging. I’m still so out of it. And I hurt.

Butt, I wanted to show you my GRATEFUL FACE. Because you crossed your paws, said some prayers and held me close, everything went well yesterday.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and from my frog dog feet.

You guys are the best.

I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow. When I’m able to think more clearly. And see more clearly. And when I’m able to fully comprehend the size of the tooth that got away yesterday.

Oh, and one more thing, Dr. Elliott got a new puppy. A really small one. She named him Stuart. After moi.

Thank you all so much for thinking of me.

Winston welcomes you to The Scottie Chronicles - a blog that began in 2009 as a voice for Stuart, a more than memorable black, brindle and white Scottish Terrier who captured hearts around the world. Stuart passed suddenly in December 2015 from cardiac hemangiosarcoma, a nasty cancer that took him far too early. If you love Scotties, please follow along. Arroooo!

We are grateful to the big Dog upstairs that you are fine and dandy. Elsa was beside herself yesterday having gone through similar issues a few months ago (but she’s a girl and you know how that is). Me n Andy just knew you’d be ok, perhaps a bit grumpy, but ok nonetheless. POTP rules once again! Woooooot!

  2. Lee says:

Another tooth got away. Well you can always gum green beans. I am glad you are back home Stuart.
    Thanks for being a friend

  5. PigLove says:

Oh my pal. Please get plenty of rest today and make your staff love and wait on your hand and paw. You know that’s what re-cup days are for 🙂 And to have someone named after you – that just shows how special you are! XOXO – Bacon

  6. Kismet says:

That’s a big relief-you’re OK. So now there’s Stuart Big and Stuart Little?

  8. Dear Stuart, glad that’s over with! So sorry about your level of discomfort. Would some ice cream help ? Hands Stuart cup if vanilla…….love that there is a Stuart Little. You are truly loved…even though they have a weird way of showing it, eh? Your pal Skyler

We are doing the happy dance to celebrate that your procedure is over, and you are going to be better than new! The road to recovery is helped along with ice-cream, yummy treats, and snuggling with the Peeps. Rest up, dear Stuart, sweet dreams to you. Sending our love to you.

We hope that you are all fine now and that all of your gorgeous eyebrows are intact! We prayed for you and we want you to take it easy! Mum says that one of her other Angels who crossed the Rainbow Bridge, had the same little moles on her eyelids and had them removed and it was hardly noticeable at first, and da scar faded to nothing later! We wish you the very best, Stu!
    Lots of Love,
    Riley-Puppy and Tessie-Girl

  13. Take it easy, pal. No rush. Luxuriate in all the extra attention. If extra doggie treats are offered, it could years and years before a full, 100% status is achieved.

  14. We’re SO happy it all went well Stu!!

So happy to hear all is good

Whew! These procedures are always accompanied with a risk. So glad you are through it dear laddie and how exciting about the new pup. Tell Mum, in the future she MUST post a pic. (no pressure though, she has enough on her plate at the moment). ❤

  17. corkscot says:

Stay well dear Stuart. We are glad that all is well.
